As far as this thread not being "the friendliest one on YT," this is true, but that's okay. I can't help but believe if everyone weren't jumping on the bandwagon, this thread would have ended before now.

PLease notice - even with all my comments, I have not taken either side. I think both sides have made some good points.... They certainly don't need my input -- primarily because I am in no position to know the truth regarding any of this.

Girls -- We need Judge Judy! I just love the way she jumps right in and solves everything "bam bam."

I think Judge Judy would say that if you want to get on a public forum on the Internet -- you'd better be willing to take the good with the bad. The Internet is "public domain." And as far as laws, legalities, etc. go -- we are on international territory here --- we have people from every country in the world on the Internet (with different laws and regulations). If pornography can exist with no regulation - I'm sure a little argument on Yt will survive.

I am not a book burner. I believe in freedom. I did state earlier that I do not like bad language, abusive language, or threatening language. But, disagreements and different points of view are just fine with me. Excuse me -- I'm on my soap box again!!!

And, once again, I do believe that YT is one of the best and friendliest forums on the net....

maybe I need to clarify

I didn't say administration should monitor this..
I said administration is doing the best they can to keep this a happy place to share happy yorkie adventures, photos and etc..

ask for a mediator (another breeder) someone with experience to hear both sides and get an opinon and work it out! I feel both sides can fix this! there must be a good breeder that will offer her assistance in this matter?? anyone??

ok it's been 10 months and now everyone knows and it has been brought to everyones's attention. mistakes were made and thats why they are called mistakes, mistakes can be fixed! gtcatel and Dante are a part of this forum. we need not take sides because of opinions or our feelings.. gosh why not just help?? or maybe that would not be as interesting?

how much? i have no idea how much yorkies are in the usa but here in the uk a pedigree one will cost about 350 to 450 pounds. but more if champs in the pedigree. whats the normal price for a yorkie in the usa then?

As all have said, there are two sides to every story... The registration papers were issued, I sent all papers out when i received them. I did not send registered mail (my fault) and I moved shortly thereafter...

So, now, the problem is that cbkc takes 90 days to issue the export pedigree from Brazil. That is issue #1. I actually have a signed contract with Melissa (aka GT Cartel) that states that she would not even receive her registration papers until proof of the puppy being spayed was received. I received such papers on March 22nd from the merchant cc company, not ever from Melissa.

I actually DID send out all papers ON HER PUPPY'S LITTER, WITHOUT waiting for the neuter/spay paperwork.. Melissa says she never received them, I have no proof of othersie. okay, so back to March 22nd, when I get her proof, I contacted the breeder, which took about 2-3 weeks or so to reach her (we had been out of contact and I lost her email since my computer had crashed) and then come to an agreement regarding ordering the new papers, since the dog was still registered in the breeder's name...

On April 12th, I wired the breeder funds to pay for the replacement pedigree. Now, I am waiting to get something back. In the meanwhile, melissa has been rude, demanding, and calling me "fraud", etc- downright slandering/libeling against me. When I have tried to talk to her, she was extremely cold and rude. Yet she continues to call me uncaring, etc.

Look, we all have to deal with what we have as obstacles. i am doing all I can to get the papers ASAP; that is all I can do, the rest is out of my hands. I would appreciate it if you, Melissa, would contact me direclty (and calmly), asking for an update, rather than making a huge "scene". You must remember that just as you say I never mailed your papers (since I have no proof), you also did not comply with your contractual requirement to RECEIVE the papers, so it has NOT been 10 months! Please stop saying that! It has been a about 40 days since I received the proof of spay. That is what needed to be given for me to request the papers and you signed a contract stating that you understand that. Period. Now, please allow me the time to get your puppy's papers adn quit making assumptions and assults at my charachter.

My puppies are expensive because they are small/fragile (so I don't want too young of people buying them, or families with small kids; and for my prices, young families stay away for the most part.), plus the coat quality is beautiful, shiny, and soft, they have teddy bear faces, compact bodies, the temperments are EXCELLENT (not yappy, whiny, or hard to train like many I see from other breeders) then they are imported dogs from Brazil; it is more expensive in medical fees to have them checked out, etc., customs fees are high, shipping is rediculous from Brazil; I paid $1300 in SHIPPING for 4 puppies last month!!

I compare my Yorkie babies to US Yorkies and I know i am not charging too much for such a small dog. I see YorkiePup.com selling tinies for as high as 410,000, and Diva Pup, Wizard of Claws, i have seen as high as $15,000! My puppies are all going to be approx. 3 lbs. and less! They should not be affordable; they are not affordable dogs; if you cannot dish out up to $3,000 for a tiny yorkie, get a more durable one, because I want buyers that $3000 is just a drop in the bucket to them; that way when they take their precious baby to the vet, $2000 is nothing to save their baby's life!! You may not see my logic, but I have seen the difference from when I sold puppies cheaper; the quality of the buyer. Also, I am paying more for quality puppies, so I have to charge mopre. It looks like a lot of profit to you, but there are: import/custom fees, airline fees, shipping fees, crate fees, export fees, pedigree fees, vet bills, medicine presciptions, food, advertsing, website fees, etc. this is an expensive hobby, ladies!

Now, I know many of you are trying to be helpful, and I appreciate that, but you must remember that it is my business, and I get to charge what I want, run my business as I like, and customers agree with me by buying from my business. If they don't like the prices, etc, they can make an offer (as long as they make it in the right way- i won't sell to someone that wants to negotiate the price before even seeing the puppy, to me, this person only cares about the money, and therefore, i won't sell the puppy; if money is that important, more than seeing if you like the puppy, you should not buy one).

I have actually had many clients tell me that my puppies are cheaper than what they were going to pay! Many! Once they saw what Iwas doing, the training I provide to the new mommy and the puppy, and my whole operation, the clients would usually say the price was cheap. Compare that to the other doggie sites you know of. My puppies actually have excellent temperments; no yappy yorkies in my nursery!

A tiny dog like these need to be with someone that can afford their care and medical fees. If you only paid $1500 for a tiny, you might not want to spend $3000 for a surgery, etc, because some reason that they can go buy another dog for that price!!!

This is the kind of mentality i have seen with the people that don't pay much. I actually have excellent references adn get Christmas cards with photos of the puppies I have sold. My other clients are very happy and do not complain that they have paid to much. I price my puppies according to how much it would take for me to give them up, becasue I love them all very much and always want to keep them. I do negotiate the price with the right buyer, of course, I am more interested in the puppy receiving the best home than the highest bid (so to speak).

Alright, ladies, I have "talked" enough. Melissa, your papers have been ordered as of 04/12/2006, and I am following up with the breeder to make sure we get the papers.

To the YT'er that apologized, I thank you very much for being so amazilngly mature and impartial. Thank you for understanding what I wa trying to say about being "lynched"/ sentenced without trial. It is not right to go on YT or any other forum and make statements that are patently frivilous; stating the actual facts is one thing, but adding all of the adlibs, like calling me a "fraudulent broker", saying that I lack integrity, that I am a rip-off, that I don't care about my puppies, or whatever else, that is baseless judgement and it is unnecessary and hurtful. Such comments should be kept to oneself, as I will keep my opinions of melissa's charachter or anyone else's to myself, or express it int a private email.

Melissa, you seemed like a nice girl when we met, when you told me about the coccidia, i apologized many times to you and you said it was okay, just inconvenient. If the coccidia lasted so long, that wa not my fault, but rather, human error. either way, i apologize. I am educated in coccida now, and many other puppy diseases, but any vet will tell you that you cannot know/diagnose them all unless you are a vet. I continually keep my dogs checked-up and keep myself abreast on what isssues may affect them,.The papers wil be sent to you, and realize that it has NOT been 10 months, please refer to your contract regarding when you will receive the papers. I apologize for the misunderstanding and any inconvenience. Please do not make any other insulting statements about me on the internet or any other public domain.

I don't mean to get into the drama, but if someone is spending so much time responding to threads, she obviously cares about what is being said about her. I would want to defend myself and my business if someone was trying to bring it down too.

We don't know the whole story, and it's really none of our business. These types of transactions should be made privately, not on a public forum. That's just my honest opinion.

PS. I really don't like when people gang up on each other.
