| Hi we rescued our Wizzar 5 years ago, he had been beaten quite badly and sadly left for dead. We couldnt leave him he was so gorgeus, but in bringing him home was not without its problems. He was very nervous around kids and men and our vet said that was probably down to the attack. He did his mess all over our house for over a year and his eating habits were impossible to track. Now he is the most loving dog who is so intelligent and he is thriving. It took time but he is my baby and he is loved by everyone!!!

If you hesitate and makes excuses its because you're not ready to rescue one . | |

| I think it's wonderful that you are considering a rescue, and that girl is so beautiful!!! Good luck!

| Naw, I think hesitation is a good sign when it comes to something big and life-altering like bringing a new pet home. Many rescues have waiting periods precisely so that people WILL hesitate, and take the time to ask if that specific animal will fit well into their lives. Not every rescue dog is going to be a fit for every person out there, but people who have limitations to what they can handle whether due to family situations, work situations, or inexperience as dog owners shouldn't be discouraged from adopting a rescue just because they're realistic about what they're willing to work with. A badly abused or neglected dog, a fear-biter, or a dog that was aggressive probably really wouldn't be a good choice for a person who was new to the breed, but this little girl sounds like she'd be very manageable.

| Thanks. Right now, he's not cute because he was doing his annoying barking act, so his little face is soaked from the water bottle ONLY TO FIND THAT his water bowl was empty. Bad mom, bad mom!!
