Is she the only rescue you are considering? There are sooo many types of rescues, some are perfectly normal, some have behavioral issues, and some have medical issues...I know of several yorkies that were in need of homes that had liver shunt surgery or ended up having MVD. My best advice to you if you decide to rescue a yorkie with a repaired liver shunt or MVD is to research, research, research, and join a group that is specifically for people dealing with those specific medical issues.
