| When we got Naiya there was a whole big argument between myself and my brothers about what to call her... I thought Gaia sounded nice (Goddess of the Earth and all that). My brother wanted to call her Nala like the female lion in lion king. I didn't like it much so we eventually compromised on Naiya Chloey... i'm not sure why we called her that. She was called Lucy when we first got her but it's my gran's first name and i wasn't sure she'd be pleased to find i had a dog named after her hehe I had originally thought of Sienna but since she's a yorkie/maltese mix and turned out black i didn't think it suited her. A few hours later, holding her on my lap i looked at her and Chloey just came to mind It's quite a fun name though so i'm not bothered much... her best nickname came from it: Chloey-patra Queen of DeNile hehe

| HAHA I love this thread When Simon was just a baby I couldn't think of a name so I watched him for a few days and he was just sassy, sassy, sassy. He would look at me and tell me just what he was thinking (he still does that) so I decided to name him Simon after Simon Cowell from American Idol (he tells it like it is and I think he's quite handsome) Hallie was 2.5 when I got her and I was going to change her name to Sadie but decided she had been through enough and kept her name. I just added her middle name of Ann b/c it's mine too. |

| I wanted a name that had meaning for me because Nathan which means" a blessing/gift from God "was the yorkie I never thought I would have and didn't ever think I could afford and God made it possible so thus Nathan!!

YT Addict | Nothing creative here, the breeder said Teddy had a teddy bear face, and so Teddy it was. I think the name truly suits him. He is a teddy. I know its such a common name, but I could never dream of naming him anything else.

| Sawyer is named for that gorgeous Sawyer on the tv show Lost. He is a stinker sometimes, but he has a heart of gold, and is soooo good to look at; just like my baby

| We love the show Girls Next Door and well my favorite girlfriend is Holly. LOL. And she's also my DH's favorite. I also did it because now we absolutely must get a Hef. We are looking to adopt a male yorkie and that will have to be his name. In the future we can get a bridgette and kendra too. MAYBE.
