I really don't think the police will help you with any amount of proof you may get. IMO

Great idea I have been given the spca number by DonnaDee, and I have called Maureen to give the number to her lawyer, to see if we can get to the dogs that way!

I think you are right about the police, they just do not care about dogs, and that surprises me, as if they ever lose one, I am sure they will feel a lot different.

Hello ladies I am so glad you are all still here for me... We do have a lead and I will go into detail but right now I have to get stuff done that Galatea requested. She needs it by 2pm so I have to concentrate on that first... I will be back ASAP with all the details.

Hi Sweet Girl, I am so glad you are back!!!!!!! I knew when you did not answer your phone you were busy with Galatea, so we all here will keep our end up with the prayers, and hopes of bringing ZEKE home sooner than later!!!!!

I am glad to see you found the new thread, and that you didn't mind me starting it...I didn't want to step on your toes or ruin any leads you have going, just a place for everyone to support each other...I am sure everyone will let you do your thing and trust you are doing what is best for your family and Zeke...

Officer Nickerson called me back and left a voice mail. I am waiting for his return call.

Maureen said that the animal control officer on duty this AM called her this AM and said they would not follow up.

I am going to the house where the dogs are kept with Maureen on Friday in the late morning. I will finally get to meet Maureen and check out some of the locations. I am bringing my camera with telephoto capacity that takes multiple shots on one click and will try and get some pictures of the dogs.

I am also hoping to get some witness declarations signed for next week that establish that the officer in charge has not been truthful about witnessess he claims he interviewed who say that he did not interview them at all. If Officer Nickerson does not move on these leads, I will submit the declarations to his superior and hopefully, they can get a new person on the case and maybe a search warrant.

BTW - I was finally able to locate the grandma without having to use any pay services at all. I did some creative deducing based on some other evidendce and guessed that this was the grandmas location. It appears that I was correct.

Im so glad the officer returned your call,now i hope and pray that he will finally take this seriously since maureen has a lawyer on board, looks like your getting real close, thank you for helping maureen find her baby boy.

Any chance we can get volunteers to watch the properties? Like I said I can fly out and help in any way, just let me know, even if it is to help in the rescue of the other puppies and get them to a vet, etc...Thanks for all your help...

As soon as I check out the place and see whether or not the police will respond to the new information, we can come up with a plan that uses volunteers in that and other capacities.

I was told that when animal control was there yesterday they had a portable chip scanner. They couldn't use it because no one was home to let them in. Today, it is a new officer and he will not go to the house when someone is there. He was told by Nickerson that there is no case here.

The officer who was sympathetic is a female and she will be back on duty on Monday. I have her extension and will call her personally when she is back and try and get her to go out again and get the dogs scanned.

Maureen is contacting the other people with missing yorkies and getting their chip numbers in case some of the other dogs are those missing ones.

I can not tell you how happy I am for all you have done and all that you continue to do.

I know with your efferts and staying power, we will get that little boy home.

You are just the BEST, and I can not thank you enough for everything you are coming up with and doing to keep us all informed, and up to date.

I am so happy that there is a lead! I really hope this is Zeke and possibly other stolen yorkies that will be returned. I am just so angry and want to cry that the police in charge won't cooperate. How does he know that there is no case when he won't even check into the situation??? I would continue to stake this place out and take him back myself in no one will cooperate. I know this may be the wrong thing to do - but if I REALLY thought one of the dogs in there was mine, I'd break into the house when no one was home and get him back. I mean if the police aren't helping you get your dog back, you may have to resort to something like this - I know I'd do it for Lacy. I hope someone will go check on these dogs very soon - I'm really hoping we'll be hearing good news today!
