Oh my goodness, I am laughing so hard. I don't think the 60's has anything to do with it, i understand that her mother, whom I never met, was just as loopy. But you are so right, she is like her own little insane sitcom, hahaha. I wish i could say anything back to her, but you can't, i think she has severe emotional issues, and she wore white to my wedding. The woman dials her deceased (by 4 years) mother's phone number from time to time, thankfully it hasn't been reissued, and talks to thin air as though someone was there. She's nuts!

Hint: My Aunt used to slip her anti-depressants into my Uncle's coffee every morning. Worked like a charm!

I KNOW my FMIL will do this (either white or full black with a black veil lmao).

That's why we've started thinking about going to a beautiful location (like Hawaii, Fiji) with only our witnesses and getting married there, then coming back for a reception. Which I can only IMAGINE the things she'd do there.

I always wanted the big beautiful princess wedding in the church yada yada, but with her I'm not so sure...

Thanks, all the stories are true, and I could go on! haha Thank you for the comments on my little Vinnie. We had a whole list of names picked out and he earned that name on the ride home when we got him in December, haha, he's a real character!!

Haha, mine didn't wear the veil much to my surprise. Actually, i had no idea she planned to wear white, but i suspected she would and I was unfortunately right. Now, not only is it commonly regarded as something you don't do, the worst part was how many people commented on it, so she really did get a lot of attention on my wedding day, whether good or bad. What I should have done was offered to go shopping with her, or even picked out some options in a magazine for her, but i didn't think of it then. Don't give up on your dream wedding for her, if that's what you want, have it!

Even if I pick out a dress for her (like mother of the bride style dress) she wouldn't wear it! She'd probably shred it lol and do God knows what with it.
