Haha, mine didn't wear the veil much to my surprise. Actually, i had no idea she planned to wear white, but i suspected she would and I was unfortunately right. What I should have done was offered to go shopping with her, or even picked out some options in a magazine for her, but i didn't think of it then. Even if I pick out a dress for her (like mother of the bride style dress) she wouldn't wear it! She'd probably shred it lol and do God knows what with it.
