| ![]() Don't let Bruizer go. The money will last a short while, but Bruizer will last "forever." Skrimp and beg friends and family if you have to, but you will be lost without him and even more depressed. I'd rather be in the poor house then sell Baby. ![]()

| ![]() Guys, I am so excited now. I have worked out a way to get the last bill paid. Slowly but surely. Plus..................Are you ready for this..............My Mom went to the stock yard in Marlette (about 30 mins from me) and they have like a big yard/junk sale there before the cattle and all that go through. well a guy was walking around with a Yorkie and he was talking to my mom and he told her he was selling it, so my mom asked him how much and he said.......................................$75 bucks. So my mom, without hesitation said "I'll take her". Turns out she is 3/4 Yorkie and 1/2 some other terrier but she looks like a yorkie and she is soooooooo loveing. Her name is Bella and she is about 10 months old. My mom give her to me to do with what I want. I was thinking about selling her to help pay the bills but Being that they are allmost utd I think I am going to keep her. Plus I called the guy my mom bought her from to find out more info on her like age, shots, health, parents, and all that, and he told me that just last week she was in heat so he bred her with his brothers male yorkie that is about 3 1/2-4 pounds. I can still se that she is a little swollen back there (her private) so I know she was in heat. So I don't want to sell her to some one and have them not take proper care of her exspecially being that she is only a baby herself. So I took her to my vet (he didn't charge me nothing as he knows I am going through a divorce and knows about the bills and all that) and he put her on a vitemin and told me to keep an eye on her as her sugar could drop very easily and very fast exspecially being she is in a new place. But other than that she is 100% healthy. I am falling in love with her all ready so I am allmost 100% certain I am keeping her. When she has pups I will be giving them away and I will be giving one to my aunt who has been wanting Bruizer for the longest time. Plus My Mother said if I need any help with the care for her or my Bruizer or Lady that she will help me. I am so glad I stuck through this and kept my Bruizer, Thank you all for giving me the strength I did loose my Job the other day but the temp service said as soon as my knee heels they will put me back to work........!! Yey for YT I love you guys. any info on to help Bella and her pregnancy please let me know. This will be my first Yorkie litter. I have been around Chihuahua's my whole life and welped many litters with them but never a Yorkie. Thanks and I will post pics of Bella as soon as I get batteries for my camera.

| ![]() Okay, not to play devil's advocate, but if you couldn't afford one dog, how will you with two? ![]()

| ![]() I'm so glad that your mom is willing to help you with the expenses for the dogs. Maybe if the new little lady has more than one pup, you can sell the one you don't give to your aunt. It's costly to bring a litter of pups into the world with vet visits and everything you would want to do to provide someone else with a healthy pup. You hang in there. I've been through a horrid divorce where I shocked to find out how much debt he had left me with. Just one of his horrid behaviors that he wanted to scar me. You will survive. I am still digging out after 11 years. Just hold your head high and continue to surround yourself with good people. Take the high road!

I have ro agree with this .... This is very odd ... how in the world can you afford to take care of 2 dogs when you said you were having trouble with one? This makes no sense .... ![]()

| ![]() You know, I have enjoyed most of the posts, info and new people since joining this board. But it seems like there are so many people that use it as an excuse to jump on others when they either don't take their advice or do something they wouldn't do. There are at least 3 posts on this thread, and several on another I've looked at just today where people sound really judgemental and preachy. If you've never been in that situation, you don't know how it feels. If someone asks for advice and you want to give it, go right ahead. It doesn't mean they have to take it. If someone seems to need support and you don't have it to give, just hit the back button. Bruizersmummy, I'm glad you are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Keep it up. |

I am not taking sides here, I am just attempting to see things from the perspective of the people you are condemning as sounding "judgemental and preachy." They are all wonderful caring people, and do not intend to hurt anyone. They are genuinely concerned about the welfare of these furbabies. I too wish you, bruizersmummy the best of luck. You have been in my prayers since you first posted this thread, and I really feel for you, as I was raised in a similar situation.

| ![]() I dont feel judgemental or preachy either...I just dont understand how on the 27th this was posted...and then... Quote:
...she is taking on a pregnant puppy who could possibly have complications and end up costing her a ton more money when she already has a ton of other bills to pay...it dosent seem right when people here have graciously sent her money and then see her possibly get back in debt..maybe I am not seeing this as others are...but that is my opinion and its not meant to hurt the OP...just hopefully she has thought this over..its easy to jump into a new situation..I am guilty of that..I just dont want her to be stuck in the same situation again..
