| ![]() I had never seen a yorkie with a full tail prior, and I honestly would have thought I would not like it. But I am surprised-I like it! It's absolutely adorable! |

| ![]() In a lot of cases docking a dods tail is just for people who compete in dog shows , personally I think they were born with them so leave them, I approve of countries now coming around to banning the docking of tails. But they're plenty of people who have they own preference and opinion. but I'm a wager ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() awww, cute litle yorkie ![]() Fido has full tail, here in Iceland its banned to dock the tail, i think its so much cuter to have the tail just normal, why docking it? well i would love having Fido's tail docked sometimes and sometimes not, because he gets so much matts on his tail. But i could'nt not see his tail wag and be so furry and cute, i love his tail.

| ![]() yes I know what u mean with the tail getting matted, I find their undercarriage gets loads of little matts too even with daily grooming, I keep Alfie's coat short as he loves going for walks down the bogland and running in and out of trees and ditches and when he gets back I keep plucking bits of this and that out of him.. lol ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() Yes , Fido also loves beeing outdoors and running ![]() But he hates getting grass in his fur and beeing wet, so i think this is OK for him ![]() I have a wrapping jacket that i put him in if its snowing, or if its wet outside, he does get matts from it but its better to comb out 5-10 matts than having to bathe him after walks in the snow, its silky inside but his coat is so thick that he gets few matts anyways, but not close to as many matting and as much matting as in woolen clothes , much much less matting in his wrapping jacket ![]()

| ![]() Our Biewer Terrier has a full tail, and I LOVE it. So glad it's not docked. It's beautiful, and when he's happy it swishes beautifully. |

| ![]() The place where I board my little ones when we go on vacation boards a little guy with a full tail... it is beautiful. The hair on it flows like a silk flag when he runs. Very stunning. I had considered keeping one of the pups tails long then decided against it beings I am not "planning" on keeping any of them ![]() |

| ![]() If I decide to breed again I may leave one of their tails long. That is if I decide to do it again... It is a lot of worring that goes into it. |

| ![]() It would take some getting used to since all I have ever seen are docked tails. I love the ones that curl up like Dustee's and Jackson's but not crazy about the one in the first post (have to agree with most -- it looks like a cat's tail). If docked tails were outlawed here, I am sure I would get used to the full tail look in no time, but I do personally love the docked tail look. It is part of the standard yorkie that I fell in love with and waited years to own! It took me a long time to cut Ben's hair down short. I wanted him to look like a show dog. Not practical when I let him run through the back acre like a farm dog. ![]()

| ![]() Sandy has his full tail. It's illegal to dock the tails here. I always find it cute when he has his tail up high... ![]() |

| ![]() Thankyou so much for posting that excellent close up picture of Jackson. I've been watching for a good picture of the Yorkie Puppy cut face, so that I can follow it's lead when I trim up my Riley. And the tail is adorable! ![]() |

| ![]() Hi, tail docking is banned in the UK also, I love my Kiki's tail, it curls up over her back and when she walks out, she proudly sticks her head up high and her tail up and over her back, she looks super and I just couldn't imagine her without her tail now. I understand the principal though behind tail docking some dog breeds, and it is a controversial topic, which according to my UK vet has both good and bad points.
