| He looks like a darling little puppy who needs some high wading boots, can't imagine why no hair on the feet, unless he was in high grass and flea bitten to a poing that he tore the hair off. Hopefully it will grow back for you with good nutritution, and love. Good Luck!!!!! |

| got a call from family after work today, and was told the puppy got really sick. shaking, coughing constantly and vomitted. brought him to the vet hospital and got x-rayed and found out he got pnemonia. The vet wanted him to stay there overnite and now is on air support. My poor baby... he looks so sad when we went in to see him after we went to pick up the drug. He couldnt even keep his eyes open when he saw us... I dont understand why the hospital doesnt even have the antibotics. They have to write us the prescription and we have to spend over an hour at walgreens for the drug in the middle of the night. Hopefully the med works cuz he deserves better than that. This really worries me since I know a friend who lost his yorkie puppy due to pnemonia also... |

| I am so sorry for the bad experience that you have gone through with this person. There is absolutely no excuse for her actions nor the person who bred these dogs as it is quite obvious that neither of them care for these pups. It sounds like he is very lucky to have you though, especially now that he is sick as I am sure that he wouldn't have received the medical attention he now needs. Please keep us updated and I will keep your little boy in my prayers. I have never heard of a vet not having medicine and sending someone to pick it up from a pharmacy. Maybe try calling around to see if this is a normal practice in your area. If not, I would suggest switching him to a new vet when he is strong enough.

Do you have him home with you? Or is still at the vet hospital? If he is at home...give him pedilite (like for babies) to drink. and Science Diet SD can food. That will keep him hydrated. Don't give up his fight even if you think it is hopeless. I was told Duke may not make it and I couldn't give up and at that time he wasn't even mine. PM if you want more details about what I did to care for Duke. GOOD LUCK Dawn

| Yeah brought him home tonight. He seems to be doing a bit better than the night before. He doesnt need air support now, but still got that coughing once awhile. Yeah, I got him science diet can food. He ate a bit of those, and tablespoon of nutral cal and a small amount of water. I also got him a humidifier so hopefully he can breath better. Yeah, he wasnt drinking much water at all, wish i knew about the baby liquid you mentioned when i was at the store earlier. Maybe I will get some for him tomorrow. |
