My Ricky is 2.4 lbs at almost 8 months. Thank God, he is healthy as a horse.

Teddi is 2lbs 10oz and will be 11 months. She only gained 1oz from the time she was 7 months until now so I don't know that she will get any bigger but she is perfectly healthy (except for her shark teeth which will have to get pulled out when she is 1 year).

There is a lady here in town named Francis. She owned a yorkie that was over a year old that weighed under 1 lb (like 14 ounces). I don't know why, but she decided to get her spayed. Needless to say, she didn't make it out of the surgery.

Izzy is 7 mos. old and weighs 2 pounds 5 oz - she was spayed and knock on wood - very healthy and energetic to say the least.

Definitely gives the cats a run for their $$$.

Molly was just at the vet for her rabies, well they wouldnt give it to her, she is not quite old enough they said and she weighs 1.8 i said to the vet nurse , are you sure? at home she weighed 2pds they said my scales were not like theres and there for i should listen to them, ok then, any way she is 4 1/2 months is that small for her age you think

My friend has one that is just over 2lbs. She did have her spayed but not until she was over 2 lbs and she is very healthy. I thought for sure she would have problems, but she is healthy. She is rarely if ever left alone. At 2 lbs, she really can go anywhere.

Maybe the lady wasn't aware of all the risks? Maybe she didn't want the puppy to get pregnant and risk losing her during birth. Don't be so quick to judge. The poor lady lost her baby for crying outloud, not everyone is an expert

My baby is just barely 3lbs. Our vet said she really must be spayed because she was too little to have pups. She said that if she got pregnant it would be a high risk pregnancy. We did have her spayed and she did fine. I was really nervous about having her put to sleep. Then she had luxating patella and had to have surgery on both knees. Two different surgerys...I really hated to have her put to sleep yet again but she did fine. Then wouldn't you know it....the first knee she had done kept giving her problems. She was in constant pain it seemed. I took her back and the pin they put in her right knee was too long and was sticking into her muscle every time she tried to use it. The poor baby had to have another surgery!! But after many prayers............she is doing great!

I am so happy to see her run and play and bounce around. She will be two years old tomorrow and she is the light of our lives!! It is dangerous to put these little ones under so always be careful and pray hard!!

My Munchkin is full grown at about 1 pound 10 ounces right now. She's been eating like a maniac lately, so she's gained a little weight. She used to weight 1 pound 8 ounces. Shes is very healthy and never had a health problem. She just never grew! Just be careful if you take her out for a long day that she has food and water.
