| The money factor is not discussed between breeder exhibitors, unless there is transaction going on between each other. So, I can't honestly say. I do know that getting a show dog from a breeder/exhibitor is not that easy.

| But when you do, it's worth every penny!!!! Getting a puppy of the quality that Mary (Mardelin) breeds is an honor be it show or pet! I am just happy to be one of the few that she has trusted and by gosh I WILL honor and protect her breeding!!

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Thanks I was very luck to have found my baby as her her breeder doesn't breed very often, only every once in a while as she mainly just shows. There were only 4 pups in her litter, 1 boy and 2 girls. The boy was already gone and the two girls were left...once I saw Tatum, she just melted my heart and I had to have her!

But as someone else said, I'd pay just about anything I could afford for the baby that melted my heart

And my girls and boys are priced the same. I feel that if you are obtaining a puppy from me on a limited registration/no breeding rights why should the price be different. And if you are lucky enough to obtain a show dog from a dog can stud more puppies than a female can whelp.

Question and I'm not attempting to start a war here, just curiousity. Why aren't you willing to pay more than $1,000 for a quality yorkie, but you're willing to pay for a non AKC registerable Biewer. Just a question because I'm always wanting to learn.

I guess every breeder's fees are their own.

| To me, there is no such thing as too much. I guess as much as you can afford and then probably a little more I would never breed or show, so any animal I buy is a pet. I keep my pets for life and have had dogs that lived 12-15 years so far. That's a long time so I figure any amount I want to spend is my business. People spend so much money on cars that don't last as long a pet. So far, the most I have spent on a pet quality dog is $3250 but years after my children have grown if I want to spend every penny I have to get exactly what I want...who cares? People value different things. To me, an animal loving you for their whole life is priceless. It's a splurge I'd be willing to take. Even though I know there are dogs out there that need rescuing(I've done that too.) Heck, I've heard of apartments in NY going for $10,000 A MONTH(I'm watching Gastineau Girls on DVD and they showed one) That makes any yorkie seem like a bargain.
