Well, actually that's all the same little girl just growing up and she was $1500. Her breeder knew she could get more for her but wanted to find her a good home, she's was really nice. Yorkies are just the sweetest breed of dog. I woke up this morning being smothered by kisses.

| I think for me it would depend on the quality of the pet yorkie as to how much I would spend and what all was included. For a bigger floppy eared yorkie with no papers but a health gurantee because that is the most important for me, I would pay under $1000. But for a pet quality that is standard size with a nice coat and with papers but still has a lot of flaws, I would pay up to $1200. For a standard size yorkie with a gorgeous silky coat with great bloodlines and just a great quality yorkie, I would pay almost anything for one if I had the money.

| I was lucky, I adopted my Fritzel from the shelter I work at. He came in with a broken pelvis and full of parasites, But now has gained a lot of weight and his pelvis healed fine. I only paid $10.00 for him. That included the neuter and rabies shot. |

| I can say both of mine together were under $1000.00 with all papers AKC But My Daisy was a gift from my mother who use to breed . I would not pay more than 5 to $600.00 for a pup with no papers that would be insane. If I wanted a non papered pup I would go to the pound or a rescue. |

| Without papers I would not spend more than 800. With papers, pet quality I would spend up to 1500. With papers, show quality I would pay up to 3500. My yorkie cost 1200 and she is pet quality with papers and I have to say I am happy with that price. |

| I'm not sure what I would pay for a yorkie without papers. Brutus was $1500 but I know his breeder raised the prices for boys to $2000. She doesn't breed much though and very rarely will sell a female. Brutus has the Durrer line in him too. His Grandfather was Durrer's Why stop now. He also has a lot of Elite? If you want to see gorgeous yorkies check out the Durrer website. http://www.durreryorkies.com/

| it is not necessary to pay more than $1500 in my opinion. I had a wonderful breeder who had been breeding for about 2 or 3 years so her prices were a little lower--1200 for boy 1500 for girl...but her puppies were clean, lively, and absolutely beautiful, their father was a champion...her puppies were nothing less than what a 15+ year breeder could have produced for about 2500 or more...don't let people rip you off (UNLESS the dog is a show dog, that is different, different lines better "quality" in a way....but for a companion dog, you don't need to go anywhere near the 2000's...stick between 1000 and 1500

| I would pay up to $2,500 for a Yorkie ... $3,000 tops. I'd prefer a dog with papers for that price but they aren't really important to me because I don't plan to ever show or breed.

| I think the prices are all over the place and also maybe dependent on the area you live? I paid $2,500 for Lucy. I have no intention of showing her or breeding her. I researched for health, temperment and conscientious of the breeder when I was looking for her and I was willing to pay the price. I'm so glad I did the research because I got the absolute perfect temperment to fit my life and that was very important to me. I don't think $$= quality, that's just how it turned out for me...
