I would never breed or show, so any animal I buy is a pet. I keep my pets for life and have had dogs that lived 12-15 years so far. That's a long time so I figure any amount I want to spend is my business.

People spend so much money on cars that don't last as long a pet. So far, the most I have spent on a pet quality dog is $3250 but years after my children have grown if I want to spend every penny I have to get exactly what I want...who cares? People value different things. To me, an animal loving you for their whole life is priceless. It's a splurge I'd be willing to take. Even though I know there are dogs out there that need rescuing(I've done that too.) Heck, I've heard of apartments in NY going for $10,000 A MONTH(I'm watching Gastineau Girls on DVD and they showed one) That makes any yorkie seem like a bargain.
Well, I took a look at your link and I think that you got your monies worth. You have lots of happy babies.
