I know there are people who have been afraid of speaking out. I too was one of the person who used to defend Stacy... if anyone said something negative about her. So I was afraid of being attacked on YT.

I am so touched that many of you believe me and are supportive.

I just hope that Stacy can come and be honest... If the money was an issue for her to register Haruka, I would have paid for it.. even I paid the "money" for an AKC dog.. I was her friend, and I could have done that...

When I got Haruka, I never thought that Stacy would sell a sick puppy because I saw her keeping dogs with a bit of health issues until she felt comfortable enough to find a family who can adopt them. Anyway... things obviously have changed.

took me a while to figure out what to write, heh. I just don't want other people to be duped into thinking there was never once a complaint or a question brought up against her. I like for people to have the facts so they can make their own decisions.

I am really sorry you are going through this. I hope that by starting this thread, the other party will indeed respond and at least give her side of the story, or explain the lack of due diligence in following her contractual agreement.

I just wanted to say, that I totally understand and agree with you. I also feel it is important to have registration papers whether or not your pet is spayed/neutured. My situation is a little different, but am still waiting for papers on my German breed Biewer, Nappy and he is almost a year old. I understand your frustration.

WOW - I'm shocked - I had considered buying a Yorkie from Sylvan Yorkies - but after reading this - well, i guess I'll have to think twice about that!!!

After reading this post, I remembered seeing a review of her in the review section and went back and read it. I had tried to click on the website link and saw that it didn't work. I was wondering if it was just the link or if she deleted her website. I was surprised at all the people attacking that one person in the review. I thought she was asking legitimate questions, and really questions everyone should ask when looking for a top-quality dog. I didn't think she was attacking Sylvan at all - just asking good questions that everyone interested in buying a puppy from her should know the answers too. Honestly, if I was looking for a top of the line show quality dog, in my opinion she failed several of those questions... Some answers were fine if you were just looking for a pet quality dog, but if you were looking for a show/breeding dog like Yorkiek9trainer, some of the things she does just wouldn't cut it

I feel sooooo sorry for you....I am feeling frustrated just reading it and knowing that people are afraid to speak the truth for fear of being bashed here...I am glad someone spoke the truth...I am hoping Stacy will post on this thread with her side of the story as this is just not fair..you paid the price for a reg' dog and that is what you should have gotten...I hope that if she didnt register this litter for whatever reason, she will refund you part of your money at LEAST...we should be able to trust each other on this board and I hope there is a good explanation for what has happened..thank you for opening your heart and telling us how you feel and I hope this turns out for you...too bad a friendship had to be comprimised because of this...

i am so sorry this has happened. I, too, followed your quest to get a puppy and was joyful with you when you did get her. I have always felt Stacy was a far superior breeder than i could ever be because people on here held her in such high esteem. I know that I am very gullible in thinking that these other breeders are so much better than I am. Well, at least I am honest to people. I feel this post should have been made in the breeders review section so prospective buyers can find it.

I understand a breeder NOT giving papers at the time of the sale..I do not do this..for one reason I allow the buyer a few weeks to make sure the match is good..second, if the agreement is to spay/neuter, I want to hold papers...BUT the pet owner is shown the actual papers and I make a copy
..makes the buyer feel better if they do not know me.

Papers may not be important to many...BUT that is not the point, if the agreement was for the breeder to provide papers after spaying..and the buyer paid the asking price, fullfilled their agreement..then there is no other side of the story...
When a breeder will not answer emails or phone calls to a buyer with a justified request, then there is only one valid reason I accept..they are dead.

You all are just too diplomatic. What could her defense be for holding the AKC papers for over five months and not returning phone calls and emails? There's no excuse for that.
You have no loyalty to her. You reported her here now report her to the AKC too. I read the breeders thread a couple on months ago when everyone was just gushing about how great Stacy and her dogs are. Selling a sick puppy and witholding AKC papers that have already been paid for doesn't sound like a very considerate breeder to me. Everyone wants to hear Stacy's side of the story. This thread has been active all day. I'm sure some of her friends must have called her by now...where is she?

Dee, please don't EVER feel that way - you have a wonderful reputation - and from my contacts with you regarding purchasing a puppy, a well deserved one!!

Thank you for sharing your experience. You do deserve to have your AKC papers, and I totally understand and agree with how important they are to you. I think it is very unprofessional for a breeder to not hold up her end of the contract (shame on her!). It sounds like you have been very patient and kind under the circumstances, and I don't know if I would have been so great about it:rolleyes: . I agree with what has been said before; I would take legal action.

thanks!!!!!!!!! Just don't forget about me LOL. I am as honest with people as I know how to be. for instance, i have a little girl for sale with a hernia that her new family (if she ever gets one) will have to be fixed. i am not trying to hide it . in fact, I just put on the other forum lowered and if anyone asks, they will be told about it. i am just blown away by what this breeder has donee. As I said, I, too, REALLY looked uo to her.

What review is everyone talking about?

Hi Elaine - Yes you are right about that but just like Michiko I didn't want to say anything too soon because I wanted to give Stacy a opportunity to respond to my email.

Michiko - I applaud you for coming out and speaking your mind. I know we've spoken several times and I know how important these papers were to you. As I've told you several times I'm so sorry you are going through this.


Here is my story. I'm not the type to bash anyone and I don't want anyone to bash me. This is why I didn't come sooner. I purchased Lilly and yes I knew she had a heart murmur but wasn't aware it was as severe as it is since her for sale ad and what she personally told me ...Lilly needed no meds nor showed signs so I decided to get her. My kids have heart murmurs and they live a perfect normal life. Stacy is a great person and was great through everything UNTIL I got Lilly. When I found out that Lilly has possible PDA I emailed Stacy and told her what my vet said. I also asked her what her vet had to say about her murmur and she said that her vet said it was a stage 5...well that was a surprise to me because a stage 5 murmur is not good. I also asked if she had any x-rays done and she said she didn't because she didn't have the funds for it after she had to have her parents fixed.....understandable but I feel she should have said that to me and then I would have made the decision to adopt her or not.. I sent her another email asking for medical records...this was almost 2weeks ago and I haven't heard from her. I know Stacy can be a great person and she received me with arms wide open. All her babies were adorable and I know she loves them all. I just think something is wrong. Not sure what though. After all this I hold no grudge against her. I don't want my money back nor I want to take Lilly back. I just want her support. I don't think that was too much to ask for. Unbelievable I've only had Lilly for about 2 weeks and she is so attached to me just like I'm so attached to her and as I stated on my thread I'm going to do everything to save her. Although the price to save her was a shock but just like I told some of the girls here....she is so well worth it. Right now she's okay but with her condition they say she will not live past one and she's going to be 8 months old. She has a cardiologist appt on the 19th and her surgery will be scheduled immediately after that. Without the surgery she has no chance but with the surgery she will live a normal life.

we appreciate your posting this as we know it is hard for you as well as the rest of us. I sincerely hope Lily's appointment and surgery go well so you will have that precious little girl for a long long time.

I am going through the same thing you two are. Sasha's breeder has never given me her AKC papers either. She is always giving me the run-around. I hope this matter gets settled soon and that everything is solved in a positive way.

You both are going through rough times with your babies and I am so sorry to hear about it. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to hear about your problem too. Has the breeder given you a reason why you havent gotten your papers yet or are you being ignored by them? Maybe you can get some good tips from the posts here and you can get things resolved. Good luck.

wow, I don't know what to say about all of this. I'm just stunned:( Timmy, I am so sorry to hear about your sick girl..that is heartbreaking and I pray that the surgery goes well. You are a wonderful person for giving a chance to this little baby who has been with you for such a short time.

Michiko, I can see that writing this was hard for you. You did a beautiful job of expressing your frustration and disappointment without bashing or getting petty... that says a lot about the kind of person you are.

I hope that all of this gets resolved.
