AKC registration:

1. I wouldn't mind putting Haruka's AKC papers like wallpaper... Hmmmmm it might make my room really cool with that wallpaper.

2. TO ME AKC paper is like a birth certificate and an immigration paper.. (Isn't it crazy all the immigration things going on in US?)

3. AKC paper would show that Haruka was existed in this world. It would be kept it as a record.

4. Haruka and I could get a pedigree from AKC and look at Haruka's family tree...

Right now I cannot have a human child... with whatever my personal reason.. So Haruka is technically my daughter... who hangs out with me almost 24/7. She is also my partner at work. SHe just passed therapy dog tests!!! She will be registered as a therapy dog soooooooooon! So I just want best for her... It is like a human child, I would like to do everything for her...

Frankly... I am feeling okay about some of negative comments on this thread... It doesn't bother me so much... because I prepared myself for long time to be ready for this thread. I was very surprised that many of you are supportive not only to me but to Kalina and Timmy.. and also to Stacy.

If I were an evil person.... then I would have reported her to AKC and sued her... But I haven't done that... Many have suggested me that, but I haven't... If I were accusing her and lying about what happened to me, Stacy could come forward and say so... She has people who can have her back... I don't really care right now about how negative people want to think of me...

My name, Michiko is written with the letters that mean "an ethicist, a person who follows the morality." I always try to follow my name. So as I said, it is okay to disagree but not to be judgmental. If you want to be judgmental, please know that it doesn't hurt me...

Anyway this thread has been very helpful for me and I am sure for some others... If Stacy let us know about her side of story, then I would be happy to do as much damage control as I could..

I think its great that you posted. I think you have done everything you can. You bought a registered akc yorkie and you deserve the papers. Hope it all works out. Prayers coming your way!:)

Hi sweetie, I'm not on YT much only because I am so busy but since I feel so terribly guilty for recommending her without ever seeing her in person I must reply.

Although I have not read through all of this, I must say you should demand the AKC papers. Post #20 says it all. It is a birth certificate and without it one of the sickly pups could very well be your pups sire/dam

The internet is a strange place to trust and we learn from each experience but this is a hard one. Breeders like this will change their website and give themselves a new name so all I can say is do your homework and who could have done more than you. It took me 2 yrs to find my yorkie and went with a breeder that belonged to the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America (the club lists who they are) I know I was far from alone in recommeding Stacy but I am so VERY SORRY for my part in this. Michiko - you are a very sweet and honest person and at this point you shouldn't need to defend yourself. You paid for something that you didn't get...bottom line.

NO ONE is saying you are NOT entitled to Harukas papers. You misunderstand. However remarks like "I bet she didn't even send in the litter registration" is nothing but speculation on your part.Comments like that and "I THOUGHT she was a reputable breeder" inflame others to feel compelled to support you, resulting in apparently some sort of group entitlement to know what is going on. Support is wonderful, that is what friends are for but only you are entitled to an explanation.

Bad news travels fast in the dog world and even if Sylvan gets back to you with a logical reason her reputation is ruined on the net, believe me... you will not have nearly as many views or responses on your "damage control" post.

I do not know what was sent to you in email, I did not really understand what you said. I do not understand her "making" the papers. I have no idea and neither does anyone else here. My suggestion is to send it to YorkieRose or another breeder removed from the situation and KNOWLEDGABLE and ask whomever to look at it for you if you have not done that already..

Speaking only for myself I am just not into public persecution without knowing all the facts that is all.. if you feel things have not been done in a timely manner or some sort of fraud has occurred I would file a complaint with the AKC, you will get much further doing that than by writing a post on here. After all the idea is to get your papers right?

Short of that others are entitled to their own opinions, people do things differently and what might seem tasteless to one could be perfectly reasonable to another. Just keep that in mind.

Well... you don't know me... I would personally pm people or something.. I said I would try my best. And it is not really a bad news to me.. because I know what I have done and what reasons.

I actually have!! I have consulted with a few reputable breeders (one is on YT and one is not on YT and i asked a couple of them who are knowledeable about pedigree)!!!! That is a good suggestion. But I did that before I even thought about posting this.

Michiko, don't let her come back with saying she is having financial problems. We all have them but her's may be caused by the unethical things she is doing herself. Think of all the others we might not know about.

There are many reasons a breeder would not want to send papers and none of them are good.

Michiko, you did everything you could do- it is very obvious to most of us here that this post was your last resort and I am so sorry you are going through this. I think a few people are being argumentative in an attempt to get your thread locked.

I have been reading the post for a couple of days. I don't know either of you. I really hope it can be resolved for you! I had a simular prob with my lab when I got him but they finally gave me the papers. I know how ya feel a bit. You seem like a very nice person and I"m sorry but 5 months is a LONG time to wait. I don't see the need for the snarkiness. Everyone in here is grown and are entitled to their very own opinion on the subject that is why it's on a public forum. You want to champion on Sylvan then that is your business. But Michiko and Timmy have every right under the sun to state their side. Nothing that they have posted here has been slanderous at all...and it can all be substantiated.

As for your belief that AKC papers have no value unless you are into showing or breeding other than to wall paper a bathroom that too is only your views. If it's not valuable then why did she sell the dog for so much more because of it? Breeders (no slight to the good ones) get way more money because of this piece of paper. So if she paid a whole lot more money to Sylvan because of that paper then it's her due to get it. If Sylvan couldn't or wouldn't produce the papers then she had a right to sell the dog for a lower sum and notify Michiko of the situation.

It amazes me how some people just want to attack Michiko and just go on a full out Breeder rally when the reality of it is no matter how good of a breeder Sylvan is she is not handeling these two cases with the respect it's due.

Your entitled to your opinion but don't belittle Michiko for expressing her concerns and looking to her fellow YTers for a bit of moral support during this whole mess.
