I would have to say that after seeing many of your threads through out my time on YT I not only admire, but respect your opinions as well. You conduct yourself with a maturity that is beyond your years, which in fact fall into the adult category all on their own. Thank you for being such a fine example of what a young woman can/should aspire to be. You make me proud!

I have to agree on this one! And as she pointed out, it is the topic of the thread "do you sneak your dog into places" and whether or not we agree with it it's a topic of conversation and away from heated threads of late
Although, I don't take my dogs with me except to dog shows, I love to oohhh and aww over other doggies in places! I'd rather see doggies in stores than young children myself but "again" that's my opinion and I love my daughter and granddaughter very much but I have no patience in "my free time" for children LOL...I work with kids and I have a small grandchild but when I'm on "my time" that's just when I prefer animals to kids

Not to take sides BUT taking a dog into a place with food is a health code violation. That restaurant or grocery store can get fined if they get caught even if they had NO IDEA that you had the dog in there. Even if it's not their fault you brought in your dog. Not saying it's right or wrong, because it IS true that many of our Yorkies are well behaved and who are they truly hurting in a bag and true it's not always safe to leave them in the car. But, please just be aware of the potential consequences to the store, that's all.

I love the adage "live and let live". Let others make their own choices, right or wrong in your opinion. I don't want to start having to fill everyone in on everything I disagree with. It's nice to be in a forum and have many different opinions, none right, none wrong. Don't even get ME started on where I think KIDS should be allowed.... So why don't we just leave each other's posts alone, and let us have our own ways of doing things.....

every message board has this problem.................. I ignore it ALWAYS but felt for a change that I wanted to speak up....say whatever you want about yourself, but let others do the same

I agree to a certain point....children and even adults can bring in about the same amount of contaimantion to food, counter tops, railings, food cans, ect.. as animals can. I don't see how keeping a small dog in a carrier that makes no noise or gets out of the bag can harm anything...again JMHO (whether it be wrong or right). I catch more sickness from the kids at school, my daughter and granddaughter than I have from my dogs LOL.

Layla just got a stroller as an early birthday gift and we will definitly be using it to go to the mall. it looks just like a baby stroller... throw a blanket over it (like many moms do) and you'd never know... she loves her stroller already.. she asks to go in it to nap When we went to Florida last Christmas we walked around the mall for 2 hours my shoulder will KILLING me from carrying her in her purse.. and she's only 6 lbs! then we saw someone with a stroller with two yorkies in it (the mesh part was not covered.. you could see they were in there) and it was then we decided to go over to the "dark side" (as my mom calls it.. she always SWORE that a stroller was going to far.. YET it was her idea to get one ) and got the stroller! just can't WAIT to use it

which brand/model stroller did you buy? i want the most "baby stroller looking" one.. so as not to get caught

I only see mesh at the one side... I didnt know if it had mesh at the top or the front.. mine has alot of mesh and im always worrying about her getting enough air.. so i saw that one and i was like oh my!

aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh I get the reason for the stroller now. I too have found that a little six pound girl gets heavy. And husband doesn't like to carry her - even with the black case - feels to feminine to him..... So by the end of a shopping trip, my shoulder is KILLING ME.......

I can see a stroller in my future maybe - for those one off occasions when you need one...............

There's mesh along both sides..and along the top ..it's just so nicely hidden. Love it! They don't have trouble breathing in there at all.......I think my baby is so used to it, being brought up this way (started the sneaking right away on the ferry when we bought her, and NO DOGS ALLOWED ON DECK...tee hee)..........so she just sleeps when in it. So quiet, never a peep. I will put my hand inside to reassure her, and she just licks it.....so cute....

well we got the brand that Petsmart carries... Pet Gear- Happy Trails. IT's pink.. here are a few pictures of her in it! please excuse the messy hair!
