How difficult was the test that you took? I'm very interested in training Wickett to be a therapy dog. I love the idea of his presence helping to make hospital stays just a bit nicer and help along with the healing process. | |

| I take Daisy pretty much everywhere with me except if we go out for dinner or movies (it's too long). She stays in her carrier (which looks like a purse) most of the time but you always have those curious people [cashiers, waitresses, etc] who'll see my bag ''move'' and want to see her to ''ooh and ahh''. The other day, I had to run some errands and went to the post office to mail something so I had Daisy in her carrier and proceed to the register. Good ol Daisy pops her head out and one employee saw her and said ''CUTE!!!". I'm like, "I wasn't sure if it's okay to have dogs in here so I placed her in the carrier." The employee then said, "We're not supposed to, but it's okay, she's small and in her bag.''..So it goes to show you that there are exceptions as long as they're nice, understanding people. I think as long as you keep them in a carrier, most places wouldnt mind or wont even know.

| My mom was at a craft store, I don't know which, and she saw a woman carrying around a bundle of baby blankets. My mom LOVES babies and children and always wants to coo over them, so she asked the women how old her baby was. The woman smiled and said "shhh, I'll show you something" and pulled back the blanket to show my mom her "baby" It was a newborn puppy!!!! She said that the puppy was too young to be left alone, and she needed to run some errands, so she disguised it as a baby. My mom just played along and smiled and cooed over it just the same -O

| I just snuck Lacy into Target today! I read last night about the cute dresses being back at Target and wanted to go by there on my way home from work (Lacy goes with me to work). I obviously wasn't leaving her in the car, and I didn't want to take her home and then drive back to Target since it was on the way. No One noticed. I took Lacy into Joanne's fabrics on Saturday to pick out some stuff. There were these little kids there with their parents that were being so loud!..just would not be quiet. I told Lacy she was such a good, quiet girl! My dog is so much better behaved than most of the children I see at stores..and definitely quieter!

| I had her hidden in a bag! It was actually the first carrier I ever bought for her and it was from Target. It didn't cost that much compared to her others so I just keep that one in the trunk of my car for times I need it..that way if ithis carrier gets messed up in my trunk, oh well. It's pretty much solid except for a square mesh on one side (I have that side toward my body so you can't see it). So it just looks like a large solid bag. I do think it's interesting that no one working there has noticed I'm carrying a dog carrier they sell!

| I work for a dog boutique/grooming salon. I work in the boutique. It is great getting to have her with me and she gets to be a little model for the store!

| My pink purse carrier is actually very obvious (that it is a dog carrier!!) And it is not that soft. Do you mind showing your dog purse carrier here (one that people don't even notice your baby in there??) Chloe is 6 1/2 lbs..... I just wanna get some ideas of what kind of purse I should get that people don't notice as much and would fit Chloe in it....Thanks!! |

| The first picture is of the pink carrier I bought at Target that I used today. I took this when she was like 8-9 months old I think. You can see the mesh window on the side there...that is the side I had toward my body so you couldn't see it. The other side is just solid. I just zip it up all the way and she lays down. The second and third pics of of her Sienna Metro carrier by Petote. I think this one is the best for sneaking her in. It only hs a very tiny bit of mesh on the bottom of one side (hardly noticeable) and mesh on the top which you can't see because it's under your arm. It just looks like an oversized purse! The 4th is one of her Juicy Couture carriers. I love it but it doesn't seem to work well for sneaking her in because the whole side is mesh and you can see through it (front and back).
