| JANIE...Stick around, we need all the caring, thoughtful and wonderful people we can get. I still believe that the good, truly do out number the bad. LAUREN...how sweet is that of you to say??? You, my dear, are the one with the "gift" of words...I sure could have used some of your wisdom today, but that's another story. PATTY...my first YT "friend", how are you doing these days? I have to agree, all our thoughts and prayers meant a great deal...let's just say we "fueled" the train. And last, but certainly not least...PAPI...I miss you, and I think of you each and every day...and pray for you each and every night. Please be well and take care. By the way, I'm still waiting to read another story, do tell...please...pretty please...with sugar on top.

Papi we pray that it won't be long, that you will be feeling up to posting and sharing Moments To Treasure with you and your PattiCake. | Patty 58 .... I took some time to read that particular thread regarding the amazing and heartfelt trip of little Maya yesterday and I was overwhelmed again by the kindness and generosity shown by all of you. What a lucky little girl Maya is to have so many loving people take the time to transport her to her " forever " home. This is what I have been looking for and I can now say, very happily and with a song in my heart .... I have found. Thank you so much ! Hello Jack & Patti, First let me thank you for welcoming me aboard this train filled with such kind and wonderful friends. It really is an honor and I am very grateful to be here This is a sentiment that is also felt by my precious little furbabies and they too are just thrilled to be allowed to share the great times ahead. To Papi, As Jack and Patti stated ... we too are hoping that you are able to read these posts and share in all the fellowship that is enjoyed by everyone here....and now us too ! We hope that you follow their advice to keep.... BELIEVING. Please feel better soon. God bless.... Janie & The Brady Bunch ..( Penelope, Tobias, Miss Lily, Tulsa & our fearless leader..... Brady! ) |

| Since I did notice that this site is dedicated to Moments of Pleasure to Treasure ... I pondered how I could contribute and where would I even begin with all the possibilities these cuties provide me on a daily basis. I kept remembering all the cute things they have done, or have not done, as the case may be and just when I was feeling a bit overwhelmed at all my choices to share with you today... they did it again. I happened to receive this site in my email this morning ( shared with all below) and as it began to play ALL my little furbabies began to bark! I immediately said to them ... " Quiet Please " and it wasn't until I looked up and noticed that they indeed were sitting quietly and watching me. I loved the video so much that I decided to watch it again and they again began to bark. That is when I realized that they were barking along with the video. Was this their way of saying to me how much they enjoyed it too? I'd like to think so. I played it again and enjoyed their barking.... http://video.aol.com/video-detail/3-...hem/4068530166 Right after that I needed to give little Brady a bath, as he was scheduled for a vet appointment this afternoon to receive his next round of shots and I know how much everyone in the office just loves to hug and snuggle him when he arrives. So I gave him his bath and then decided to snap a few pictures of him and once again he provided me with some of the most adorable pictures and yet another ..... Moment of Pleasure to Treasure. You have no idea what that video did to me! Argh! That little bit of cuteness, singing his heart out, while the microphone dropped lower and lower, and his pants seemed to follow suite. And there he was, still singing away, hoisting them up with the other hand.... now that is what I call true multitasking! ![]() And as for those pictures of a soaking wet li'l Brady - I just wanted to reach through the screen and smoosh him to pieces. That last one, the look in his eyes - so full of love - I'm quite sure it was directed at his Mama. ![]() Lauren

Ha! Ha! why is it that the gift of words always seem to desert me exactly when I need them the most ? You know - that particular moment in time when you are at a total loss for a response, and then it comes to you hours later, just in time for you to smack yourself?? What pearls of wisdom did you need dear one?.... just PM me if ya need to. I am always here ready to listen if my Yorkie/chocolate addled brains can comprehendTalk about a true gift with words: Quote:
I too, am so very grateful for finding these amazing people here, that I have never met, and yet care sooooooo much about. I cannot see their faces but what they show me I value more than words could ever say. Huge hugs dear ones, ![]() Lauren

| Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Oh my gosh Janie, that video really is so heart touching, thank you ever so much for posting and sharing it with us all. I have copied and will paste it in an email that I shall be forwarding to someone serving in Iraq to share with those that are able to see it, Bless you. Brady looks so cute in those pictures, so very contented look on his little face and those eyes just glow with happiness. Precious pictures. When we talked in the past with Papi on the phone and he would hear Baby Blessing in the back ground playing and bark he would just laugh and say,"Oh, I love hearing them." I know he is going to be so happy reading everyones posts. Am sure little PattiCake puts smiles on his face daily, helping him to recoup from all he has been through. Lori, How is Bre doing and the classes going? Please give her a hug for us. With all this talk about chocolates, I am making a trip to See's for Jack today and he is bugging me to make a batch of fudge now LOL.Have a real easy recipe so just might do that for him Papi, you are so missed by all here, prayers you will be back soon, this choo choo will sit and wait patiently till you are back and aboard, calling out..... " ALL ABOARD." Hugs, From the both of us, Jack and Patti wishing EVERYONE a great day |

You are often in my thoughts. Howzit Lauren, is your Mom having a blast? Please tell us how the meet-up went. To Janie, hang in here, there are lots of wonderful people on here.. you have met many on this thread, and there are others too, I think 98% of people on YT are GREAT. Some just have bad days sometimes. Papi, we miss hearing from you and Patticake. I hope you will soon be well enough to come back and tell us some stories. Hugs to all.

| Lauren, I am so glad that you enjoyed the video. It was just too cute not to share with you all and since I knew my babies loved it ... I hoped you all would feel the same. As for the pictures of Brady, I am so glad that you noticed that last picture, but what you can't see is the look on my face... Pure love reflected there too. Lori, I would love to be a member of your Crazy Club and as soon as I can find some time to figure it all out... we are definitely there! Sheilagh, Thank you so much for the warm welcome and I sure do look forward to meeting more wonderful friends like yourself. Ginger, thank you also for your warm greeting and I too am anxious to see a post from Papi, as I have yet to have the pleasure to thank him personally for starting this thread that has lead me here and all of you. Jack & Patti, I am so pleased that you enjoyed the video enough to share it with others. I do hope it brought them smiles also. Papi, I hope you are feeling well and able to read these posts. You are so obviously missed and we are all waiting for the day that you will feel well enough to join us once again. Until that time... take good care of yourself and that sweet little baby of yours. I would like to wish you all a VERY Happy Thanksgiving. I couldn't even begin to express my thankfulness as eloquently as Jack & Patti, but the sentiment is the same. God has been very good to me and he has shown me the way to happiness down many different paths, and of this particular path I am extremely happy to be sharing with you all. Happy Thanksgiving to you all ... with the warmest of regards. God Bless...... |

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Papi -- Hope this Thanksgiving holiday finds you counting many blessings. I know that you and YorkieTalk and the entire Patticake trainload of wonderful people will be among the many people, places, and things that I rejoice in and give thanks for as I sit down to dinner tomorrow. Life is hard and riddled with challenges and often makes it difficult to see the beauty in the many wonderful things we have. Sometimes the most beautiful things we have are those we cannot see: love, friendship, support, and faith. May the many wonders of the world -- both seen and unseen -- bring you and all YTers joy, happiness, and gratitude this holiday. |
