Hopefully we all can get caught up on our much needed sleep and rest, been a long stressful couple weeks with all those fires about us. They were fairly close to us. Know everyone is looking forward to this choo choo moving along with Engineer Papi aboard, chugging us along with lots of laughter and pleasant stories of PattiCake. Lauren, Jack and I are sending a big hug your way. Patti and Jack Last edited by Baby Blessing; 11-02-2007 at 10:41 PM. | |

| Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Hoping Papi comes back soon as I believe he could tell me how to do this, or maybe Yorkie Shadow can tell me, is there anyone else that knows how?????? I am wanting to get a picture off of several pictures to do one grouping, I am hoping to make our Christmas Cards this year with the girls pictures placed about on it but I don't know how to do this, my pictures are loaded in our computer how can I do this? Do I need to get a program installed in the computer? Hopefully I was able to explain enough so someone will know what I am wanting to do appreciate help on this, Thanks. Lauren I hear you are loading up with the chocolates so when Papi is back we'll all be ready to go, enjoying all those chocolates along the way, I know Kathy is ready is everyone else? | Hhhmmmmm........ now why does everyone here think I am the one that gobbled all those chocolates! Moi? Never........ Well, I have to confess to Lori and Kathy, I went over to visit my teeny weeny nephews yesterday and their Mama kindly smuggled their Halloween goodie bag into my car - with a little assistance from their Aunty of course... ![]() Patti, I wish I knew a program to suggest for you, but my computer is a Macintosh, and I am sure yours is a PC. I am useless with graphics, otherwise I would offer to do it for you. The only thing I could do is group them together on the screen, and then take one big "screenshot" of them together, but I don't think that is what you're looking for. If you want an example of one, done with a group of Mango pictures, just let me know. Yorkieshadow's suggestion is an excellent one and her pictures always look so fantastic. Hugs to y'all, ![]() Lauren

| I am a fairly new member of YT and had been thinking of cancelling my membership due to some of the threads and posts that I have been reading lately. I tried to stay away from such posts, but it seemed that those that I truly found interesting soon turned and it was getting increasingly more difficult to find any that contained the substance of what I had been searching for. Today I came across this thread and was compelled to take time off from what I should have been doing ( work ) to read it from beginning to end. I am so very happy that I did. This thread and what it exemplifies, is the very reason I joined YT. This is what I had been looking for and have now finally found. Post filled with the sense of family, community and all the love and caring for your members. Positive posts filled with nothing but uplifting kind thoughts for each other and your precious little babies. I can't begin to express to each and every one of you how this has made my day. It has turned things around for me and all I can say is ... Thank you and ask you if ( myself, and my precious little ones... Penelope, Tobias, Miss Lily, Little tiny Tulsa Tango and of course the newest member of our family .....Brady) ... may we now also hop aboard this train filled with such wonderful and loving passengers? We don't care where it's going .... we just want to come along for the ride! Special note to Papi... I feel as if I know you so well, yet I have never met you. Thank you so much for beginning this thread and sharing with all of us here. I hope your recovery is coming along and that you are feeling much better. We send you and Patticake hugs of comfort and look forward to more.... Moments of Pleasure to Treasure with Papi and Patticake. Also, Special note to Baby Blessing.... Your posts are so beautiful and filled with the light of spirituality and I just have to mention how much I enjoy them. |

| I am so glad that you decided to stick around. There are lots of incredible people on this forum. Please don't let a few send you running. There are wonderful threads with answers to yt prayers, people helping other people they don't even know, and great people out there willing to do just about anything for perfect strangers. Give us another chance. Patty |

. I've also read some threads in the past week that I have found so distressing, so I know how you feel. I like to think of YT as a loving, caring "cyber village" where the residents care and support each other, bonded by our common love for these precious Yorkies. The whole Papi and Patticake story is my absolute favorite here. If you think this thread is heartwarming, do a search on Papi's Yorkietrain, and be warned, you will need a really big box of Kleenex handy. The members that were involved in getting this baby many hundreds of miles across the country to him, I hold very dear to my heart. Baby Blessing (Patti) is one of them. She is one of the kindest, most inspirational persons you could ever meet. You should read some of her poetry; she truly has a gift. Lori(daisy mae06) is the Angel that drove the train; this was not her first amazing trip....she had done this a mere months before. And then there's sweet Kathy (Wemple2) - she's the one that always has an encouraging word when it is so sorely needed. She has the knack of knowing exactly what needs to be said. So, when you feel disheartened by some posts, look for these threads, they will keep you here. If you are wandering about the continuation of this particular thread - well, we are all here out of love for an amazing old man. He has been through so much lately. We all wait here for him, checking in every now and then, keeping this thread alive until he comes back to tell us once again his beautiful Patticake stories. Hugs to you for finding us here, Lauren

| Patty.... Thank you for the encouragement and after reading more about the Papi Train, I am compelled to read, read ...and read some more of such wonderful, loving thoughts and deeds. Lauren... Thank you for suggesting the other threads and I am deeply engrossed in one now and have been reading them off and on all day. I'm sorry to say that I forgot my Kleenex and by the time I was able to locate a box my poor furbabies were all concerned about me. So many tears... not enough Kleenex. LOL I have not been able to finish it all, but have been savoring each and every entry. I have so much admiration for all that were involved in this incredible journey and perhaps someday I might have the huge honor to also help. Nothing would/could give me greater pleasure. For now, I certainly look forward to learning more about the wonderful people here . Most Warmly, Janie |

| Janie, I was only able to participate in Papi's train with my prayers but was fortunate enough to help on a leg of another journey in getting little Maya to her momma in Austin. Just stick around and ignore the negative comments. |
