PS. i happend to come across the Myspace site of Zeke , Did you keep on insisting for the Tape and did you ask the witness that calles to describe the women? (sry it was post #14 but i had not joined till that date)

I haven't read evey post in this thread but wanted to ask,

Has anyone emailed or faxed all the veterinary clinics in Modesto and the surrounding areas?

Eventually who ever has Zeke will need to take him to the vet for check-up. It a sharp vet or their staff might notice him. Especially with the chip.

Sounds like it could be affordable if we continue to receive gifts for Zeke, and for now I think Maureen has not received much since the first several days.

We will have to ask her if she would rather do flyers and posters, or maybe a bill board.

She did get back to me, she said she did one for her fathers 90th birthday, and after a couple of weeks people quit looking at them. She will let me know the price and who to get in touch with on Mon.

I am going to be gone all weekend, I am at the Eagle Dog Show, will check back in Sun. evening. I will continue to pray for ZEKE. Thank all of you for not giving up, and all the good ideas you keep coming up with. This is a tight group, with a lot of power, I really do think we have a chance of getting Zeke back home! Zeke has an AVID microchip when scanned by a vet or shelter my information comes up.

Thanks ....alot I asked because i tought if you have a chip it means you can track where your dog is.

yes, when he first went missing I sent out a mass mailing to all of the veterinarians, groomers, pet stores, kennels, and boutiques. Two weeks ago Lauren posted a long list of each in the area and we called to let them know he is still missing...

I think I need to send out another mailing now that it has been 1 month.

Maureen, I'm sorry it wasn't Zeke...we'll keep looking...I had to skip to the end...I couldn't wait, I really thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest. I prayed so very hard last night, that this would be it...Darn!!!

Wouldn't that be great!!! My husband works in the car industry and the company Low Jack is trying to work out bugs to turn the chips into a GPS locator devise like the ones they have for cars. A dog could NEVER be stolen or get lost again, wouldn't that be great!!!

Does Zeke have any distinguishing marks...scars? I was so disappointed that this wasn't Zeke, that I asked my hubby if he thought he could identify Winston, from a picture or even if he had all his hair shaved off...I'm not sure we could...But then my husband said...maybe not, but Winston would sure recognize us. I'm thinking about a tattoo...any opinions?

Yes it would be REALLY great! I just search on e-bay for a chip for my 3 dogs,but i can't understand the registration thing, i might ask the vet for some help..........Hope you find Zeke soon.....I wish Low Jack realeses a gprs chip LOL !

Hmmm I dont know i just read on e-bay that a tatoo blurrs by time and it will be dufficult to reckonize

yes, I think a tatoo is a good idea... but I dont know if we could get them to sit for it.

No Zeke doesn't have any distinguishing marks... I glad you said that because when I see a picture and cant tell if it is him it makes my feel like I dont know my own dog. It is hard to tell from a picture.
