It's been a long time since we've heard anything...do you really think someone would be stupid enough to try to sell a stolen dog at the local Walmart? Maybe...I hope she finds him. But I'm starting to have doubts...maybe we should keep looking, is there a TV station or radio station in the Tracy area? If we can get this story broadcast, it will at least make people aware...and watch for Zeke, maybe someone with a heart will actually come forward with information. Still praying for Zekes' safe return to his loving family.

I am also finding YT very slow in loading tonight. I also wish this story could be broadcasted. A few months ago, in the LA area, some Yorkie puppies were stolen. along with their Mom. Because it has seen by so many viewers, the dogs were quickly found - all of them. If Tracy is a small town (I am not familiar with it),perhaps there could be a chance of getting Zeke's story out there.

Mango is snoozing on her favorite place, Mommy's lap, also waiting for news of Zeke. This whole story is just breaking my heart. It's the not knowing that must be so torturous for Zeke's family.

I am new here and you have each treated me like an old friend. I would like to share a little about myself and why my bond to my dear Zeke is so strong. For the past fourteen years I have been wife and mother. I lost my identity along the way which I know happens to a lot of moms. I have wanted a Yorkshire Terrier all my life. I always said when I grew up I would get one. Well, I gave birth to my first child in 1993. This was not the time for a brand new puppy, so I waited. As Christopher got older my dream of getting my Yorkie was nearing. He was finally old enough to be trusted around such a small dog so I began searching for a breeder in our area. Before I could find a breeder I was surprised by the news that I was three months pregnant. So I thought great another seven years! So again I waited. This time however was a little different. My baby Cayden was three years old. In November of 2005 I almost died from internal bleeding due to a disease I did not know I had. I had to have several transfusions and was in the hospital for a couple weeks. I finally was released but it was short lived... a week latter I was back in the hospital with more bleeding. In just four months I had been hospitalized so many times the nurses knew me by name. I have Crohnes Disease and it is a chronic, incurable disease but with medication and/or surgery partial control is possible. For some reason the doctors could not get my bleeding to stop and I was on a lot of medication. In March I decided I was not going to wait any longer for my Yorkie. I know at the time this was very selfish of me because I was only thinking of myself. I was afraid I may die and I did not want to leave without ever having my Yorkie. I wanted a little girl so bad because I have two sons and never had a daughter and I wanted my girl. I found an add in the paper that day and drove out to see them... she had two boys no girls. For some reason when I picked up Zeke I could not put him down. Even though I knew I did not want a boy something drew me to him. I left there with him. I had not told my husband of my intentions. I think the saying goes... better to ask for forgiveness then for permission... I was taking that route. I had been reading my Bible and happened to be in the book of Ezekiel, to make it more dog friendly I shortened it to Zeke. After I got him I went into the hospital once more ( which my husband snuck him in for me ) I have never been back I have been in remission since April of 2006. He is my angel, he always made everyday wonderful. I woke up every morning to licky faces as I call them and we went about our business together everyday. I now have a huge hole in my heart and I do not feel like the same person I was. I miss him so much my body aches. I know this was long and you guys are probably thinking, and why did we need to know all this, but I could not think of any other way to express the immensity in which I am so humbly grateful for everything you guys are doing for Zeke and I.

Well now you have just given your testimony on how God can send who he wants, whenever he wants in any form he wants to help heal and comfort his children...its obvious Zeke is your angel and gift from God to whom you gave your undivided attention and did not think about your illness which allowed God to give you the remission that you needed and desired!!! I am sure that you have helped someone else on this site who may have needed to hear this!! So Zeke is still doing what God has wanted him to do and he will bring him back to you!!! Stay Strong and I will continue to pray for you and God Bless you for sharing!!!
P.s. I have really come to believe that the Yorkie Breed is Gods special gift to all of us who have one!!! These animals are phenomanal as their owners because all of you have hearts of Gold and are not afraid to help others in what ever way you can and that is truly a Blessing!!! I am glad to be a part of this community

WOW!... I just sat here & read the whole thread..poor Zeke...He must be so frightened....I just pray Maureen is gone so long because she's on the right track working on getting her baby back....Please let tomorrow bring good news...

I talked to Proud mommy tonight and I think she has not gotten on because the manager at walmart gave her the run a round. He said he couldn't just go though all the tapes and if he and the GM do and they see a lady they will call the police. She called the Tracey police and they were very rude. she is really having a hard time. Everyone Please keep her and Zeke in your Prayers. They need it really bad right now.
I am sure she has more to add to this. I may have forgotten some of it.

Do you guys think this looks like him at all? I live near Proud mommy and I have been searching craigslist and the sac bee for dogs and here is one from craiglist. I talked to the woman that is trying to re-home him and she doesnt have any more pictures and she doesnt really have any info on him. She wont even tell me his name??? I thought it was weird, this isnt the best pic to compare it to....

and walmart is suppose to be a family store!!! I wish Proud Mommy could place a ad in the local newspaper or find a reporter willing to do a public interest story??? There has to be a way to get this out to a large number of people!!! My prayers are still going up and I am believing Zeke will be coming home!!!

Hmmm...I do see simiarities, although it's hard to tell for sure. The baby in the pic does look sad though, so I wonder if he is missing his real mommy...all the more reason to think it could be Zeke?! I also find it odd the lady wouldn't give you any info on him. Did she say if the dog was hers or how she aquired him?

The first yorkie pic looks like it has floppy ears...Zeke has standing ears...I know Reece's never lie down when he is sleeping...or laying down...I just feel it isnt the same dog...

I cannot imagine what Maureen is going through right now after getting the run-around from Walmart. It's like she is hitting a brick wall in every direction. So much for WalMart's "Family" image..... I suppose that's only when there's money involved, that "family" are important to them. Argh! I am just so angry for her.
The picture Adahi posted - I made a copy of them side by side so we can compare:
Zeke is the dog on top, with the blue bow. There are similarities in the face, however, Zeke's body hair is much darker - see his back? It's dark silver, whereas the one below appears all blond. I went through the same process yesterday when I found that male on puppyfind. He too looked a lot like little Zeke.
I have done the same thing for hours, scouring these websites, looking for a little guy that resembles Zeke; I swear by now, I would recognize him anywhere.
Maureen Hon, we all here are pulling for you; we are all looking for Zeke. Something WILL turn up.

I have read through most of these posts but have skipped a few so im not sure if anyone has suggested this but, Maybe if we made a way for the person that took Zeke to return him without having to see anyone face to face and somewhere where they would be assured they wouldnt get in trouble. They might be more likely to return him. Im sure that they have seen posters around and maybe they feel it has gone so far now that if they return him now they will be in big trouble. I know we want to see the person or people who took zeke punished for their actions but before that we want zeke home with his momma safe and sound! Its just a thought.

Also, that really sucks that the people at walmart were not more helpful. And like a few other people said, most people that go to walmart go often (at least once a week) and if this lady was out there trying to sell a yorkie (maybe zeke) im sure alot of people saw her. So maybe if we had some people that live in the area stand out infront of walmart and hand out flyers and ask questions to each person personally as they walk in we could get some answers. Maybe even putting flyers on car windows at walmart. And of course, like many people have said, put posters up at walmart.

We will continue to pray for you and your little zeke's safe return!
