Forgot to add the Zeke fund will be set up Monday at Maureen's bank, she will send us all the information, as soon as she gets the missing Zeke account in operation. The checks should be made out to Missing Zeke, he will have his own acct all set up. All we will need after that is the address of the bank, and of course the name of the bank. I wonder if it would be possible to transfer money from our acct to his, i have done that in the past, all you need is his acct. number and the name of the bank, and you have to go to your bank and do it in person. |

I liked the one that had the bloodhound, I think it was the second one. I would love to see how expensive they are, as I would think not as high as a PI, and more in tune to what we want. They have a lot of experience at this, I think we should all look deeper into it, and make a decision which one would be the best for Zeke's purpose. And get one hired asap! Can you check it out more tomorrow, and tell everyone about it, as tomorrow i will not be able to be on line before 9:00 p.m. Maybe give them a call and see if anyone is available to work asap and what their rates are and their rate of success. I thought I would post a positive story so everyone will know there is stil hope for Zeke. lost in June and found in October WOW Cassie, San Francisco, CA: FOUND in October 2006 - Missing Since June 2006: Escaped from loose screen in pet sitter's home. "I have thought of you as well, and have recommended your services to others. Yes, we found Cassie, after 38 long days and nights... We walked the neighborhood again, but no sightings. We decided to lay the three traps we had, the first and second in the pathway in the neighborhood she followed according to your Search Dogs. The third one in the bushes on the pathway down from a nature trail about 1 block away from there. Believe it or not, Cassie had been caught in that 3rd trap. She lost 30% of her body weight, had an eye injury that has required surgery, but is back.... and happy to be.... better than before." |
Hey guys, I've hardly been around the past 2 days, and will be gone again until tonight, but had to check in here quickly for updates of Zeke. I think the PetHunters idea is a good one. Donna Jean , I have often looked at the puppyfind picture that you mentioned again yesterday, and every time I see it, I still think the similarities to Zeke are VERY strong. As soon as you post on the Zeke fund, I am very happy to make a donation. Maureen, please don't give up hope. Every day Zeke's story gets more and more exposure. And, don't forget the VERY important factor of Zeke's microchip. He WILL eventually be scanned by whateve vet he is ultimately taken to. I will check in again when I return tonight. Let me know of ANYTHING I can do in the upcoming days. I just so want your baby to be found!!!!!! |

Hi Ladies, Where are all of you? I've had friends for lunch, and could'nt wait for them to leave so that I could check up on Zeke. They've gone now and so are most of you!!:confused: I need news. Sorry to hear no news on Zeke yet. I have the puppyfind ad going and have it on my website and had over 200 hits on my website since I posted it so I know alot of people are seeing it. Lets hope the right one sees it and we hear something soon. |
Here is the first email back this was to the one in the south part of CA the ones closer would work better anyway. Thank you for your email about Zeke. I am so sorry to hear what happened to him. However, I am not a PI. I use Search Dogs and Search Management Techniques to find lost pets. In addition, I am in Southern CA. It would be expensive to bring us out (2 Pet Detectives and 2 Teams of Search Dogs.) However, if the owner is interested she should call me at 513-646-5012 directly. I am sure you are aware that many yorkies go missing - some of them are stolen, some are rescued, and some meet with accidents - cars or predators. Acting immediately is important. I also offer a phone consultation for $100, which is very effective. I am sure the owner has done everything she knows how to do, but I have some extra tricks up my sleeve! here is the next Email Landa Coldiron [larescuedog@sbcglobal.net] sorry about your friend's yorkie..youare a good friend. it does indeed sound suspicious. the scent dogs after two weeks in the heat would be of litlte helpe unfortunatley. i highly suggest you call Susan McCrary, she is a private investigator who has been on the San Diego police force for 18 years. She is starting her own business and wants to take on lost/stolen pets. I suggest call her directly....if anyone can help, it is her.. 619 347-4252. Tell her Landa Coldiron referred you so you will get a call back within 24 hours. It is best to have the owner call with all the facts, emails, police report, etc. in front of her instead of through a friend. Good luck..let me know. p.s. if they are hispanic, they are probably undocumented and therefore afraid of getting into trouble. I have had this happen wth small breed dogs before. it is a shame the ID collar was not on,,,,in fact, they were actually rescuing the dog from a larger dog or getting hit in the street so they did you friend a favor. A lot of people don't know about micro chipping believe it or not AND they or their family probably got real attached to the dog even in a short time. very unfortunate |

Remember he is 4 1/2 lbs, neutered male, bl/gold, I think he just got a new hair cut. Maureen will have to let us know what kind. Also he is micro chipped. Also he is 18 mos. old. I think that would be a great help and a very big job, maybe when you get the list it can be divided up, so several people can keep checking the classifieds on a daily basis. Also all the Shelters, and divide it up as well as their has to be a ton of them. Once you get your list, list it and ask for people who would like to help check the classifieds. I think Laurn has been working on rescue groups, but than would also make another huge list. Many thanks!!!!!! |
