I've been silently following this story. I am so glad there is finally some cooperation from the police. I hope to God that this is going to get this baby home ASAP. I keep looking at Lexie and thinking how horrifying it would be for both of us if she got stolen or lost. These babies depend on their mommies and daddies so much and nobody else ever compares for them. Many prayers spoken, many more to be spoken. :love-hug3 for Maureen.

I will give the officer a call in Modesto, and see if he can get an officer in Sacramento to check out these brokers and their dogs, maybe ZEKE is one of them. Do you have any more information about where in Sacramento, time, day, etc?

I am on such an emotional roller coaster... The officer in charge of Zekes case called and once again a wall. He found out the blonde woman speaks no english what so ever, not even broken. When he talked to Jose he said the woman selling the Yorkie spoke english and he believed her to be caucasian. He also showed Jose a color picture of Zeke (the one in the paper is black and white) and he said the dog she was selling was much older.

I am so sorry that this news has turned this way, but please don't give up hope, we need to continue getting the word around Town and all of Northern California, we need to keep getting Zeke's photo out there.

Maureen, Please do not give up hope, we still have the police in our corner, and willing to help, we have the media, we have MYSPACE, possibly AIR time on TV, we have so many people in this forum with wonderful leads and ideas, that you may have to take some baby steps for a while. This was a giant step, we are able to close that door, maybe, you never know with these people, they have daughters, neices, cousins, a lot of family trying to protect each other. Was the blonde lady that you told the officfer about the one that did not speak English? Did you ID the lady or did the officer just tell you the blonde did not speak any English? Was she indeed the lady you saw with Paula, and did you go with the officer?

DonnaJean, the girl pulling the scam I fell in to is from Chico, CA. She is using the SacBee online to post the sale of the puppies she is buying and reselling. I know her past Bee ads were all AKC registered teacup size pups.. Also, you say your baby went missing on June 15th? That is the day that I bought my baby from her and I do know she was in Chico all morning..as my neighbor spoke to her several times during the day and we meet her in Yuba City (1/2 way point) at 4:30 PM that same day. Please keep the faith, with your persistence, gods strength and your love for Zeke, you will bring him back home. You have too many on your side and those theives will not get away with it. Even if this blond didnt pan out we still have some good ideas going and we can still find Zeke. The flyers on all of the cars at Walmart and the other discount stores and maybe the mall too if there is one is a good idea. All it takes is one person who knows this lady to see a flyer or the my space ads or a newspaper article and maybe that person doesnt like her anyway and would be more than happy to turn her in. Lets not give up hope.

Just a thought, is it possible that Jose called just to throw you off the trail and there was no woman at Walmart and he knows more than he is letting on?

I find it difficult to believe that if this lady would have NO contact information on somebody that worked for her. Perhaps the police should investigate this absent employee further. Surely her employer had SOME information on her, a cell number, anything.

Maureen was headed to Costco to put up a poster, ask questions and pass out flyers, I wish she had enough volunteers to put a flyer on the windshield of every car! I don't see how she can do this all by herself. I wish she could get a bunch of her childrens friends to help put flyers out. But I think if she stands by the door, she will be able to pass out a lot of flyers to people coming and going.

The thing that bothers me is this was all done by phone, and Maureen did not see the blond, she is suposed to be out of work now. And now all of a sudden she speaks no English, it could have been her mother, they have their children young.

As for Jose saying the dog looked like Zeke, than he said it looked older, come on now, let's get something straight. From the very beginning the stories told by the same people have changed as often as they are talked too. The story is never, never the same. It would seem someone has something to hide, and i would think if anyone maybe a detective could be of some help. I was told by Maureen that the tapes show nothing, they are poor quality, and you can not make out the makes of cars, people's faces and they are in black and white. If this is so why bother!

I would think Zeke would look a little older after missing for two weeks, he probably needs to be groomed, and he is probably stressed. Can change the look of a healthy dog overnight.

Now we still have hopefully time to get more flyers out, and an answer to the new adds that Maureen has placed. And I pray, some Air time!!! We have My Space, that was just completed yesterday, so we have to give it some time for people to read all this and respond. We also have to realize it is a very busy weekend and a lot of people will not be reading the papers, so our new leads will probably be in next week, when every one gets back from the long weekend.

Please don't anyone give up, keep praying, and stay strong, and keep thinking, all of the good ideas are just now coming to fruition.

I just wish I lived close enough to be of actual physical help, but I am stuck all the way down here in the OC. With all the people out buying holiday supplies at Costco, I think it's a great idea for Maureen to be handing out flyers there. The more people that are exposed to his story, the better chance we have of getting Zeke home. Someone, somewhere has seen Zeke, somebody somewhere, has seen a lady with a Yorkie, where she did not have one before, and will be reminded of Zeke's flyer/picture/MySpace page. There is just sooo much exposure around that area of this little guy.
I am also online for only a short time, but had to check in here for news. Will be back later tonight. Hang in there Maureen.... NOBODY HERE IS GIVING UP.

I wanted to add, Maureen I think it is still important to see the Wal Mart tapes, just in case you can see the woman, and also did Jose give a time that he was there. I think you need to ask your officer to maybe think of bring in a Detective to go over the Wal Mart tape with a fine tooth comb for that day. Surley if the lady is seen, you would be able to identify her. It's funny how she just dissapered into clear air. I hate to keep coming back to her, but until the tapes are shown, we will never know, who the blond is and who she was trying to sell! Also passing out flyers to all the Wal Mart employees could be helpful, ask for the ones that worked that day, and maybe they saw something.

I wish we could rent a small plane, with thousands of flyers, and fly over Modesto, and Tracy and drop them.

When i was in Hong Cong they did that daily, and everyone picked them up! It is probably not legal here, but a lot of things are going on here that are not legal! Would that be nice, or a Good Year Blimp Pulling a string, reading, Bring ZEKE home, neutered 18 mos. old 4 1/2 lb. gold/blk yorkie could be sold, please call if resently purchased, refund and reward than phone # Everyone reads them, maybe we could all chip in to advertise with one. Or find out the cost, and go from their. I am just trying to think of something that a lot of people would see at one time. I just pray the t.v. spot is a go.

I vote no...We still have to find this woman...get the detective involved or we get our own. Do the police have the Walmart tapes? Are we sure they won't be destroyed? Maureen, I swear...we will find your baby. We are a determined bunch, and we love our yorkies...nobody comes between a mommy and her yorkie. I know this may sound negative but what if the 'blonde' isn't the one? Or maybe this guy whose name is suppose to be Jose is lying to lead Maureen on the wrong path? Finding Zeke and bringing him back home is the most important priority for Maureen and her family, I hate to say this but lets just say he can't be found? I'm not giving up hope but sometimes things turn for the worst and you have to be prepared for it to slap you in the face.

I think this lead on this woman (the blonde) closed a chapter in Zeke's disappearance and a new one needs to be opened to further investigate this and get to the bottom of it.
