| Let's not be too quick to criticize them for taking him to the vet so quickly. They may have taken him so that he could be scanned for a microchip. Maybe the vet talked them into the shots and everything else. And to their credit, they did put up some flyers. I have no doubt that she was hoping that she would get to keep him, but then who wouldn't fall in love with such a cutie. So glad that he is home. Give him lots of hugs and kisses for me!

| Really you just need to be thankful that he is home. If they really had intents on keeping him I doubt they would have posted posters. If i find any stray dog that I plan on keeping in my house while I try to find the owners I take it to the vet ASAP and get it UTD on shots and everything else. I dont' want to risk my own babies' health. Just be grateful he is home and take the precautions so he doesn't get out again. Next time you might not be so lucky. |

| What great news. What's with the vet? Looks like a local vet would have known about a missing purebred Yorkie in his/her area? Sounds like the finders were hoping against hope they could keep a yorkie that just dropped out of the heavens for their benefit. Still, it could have been MUCH MUCH worse. I'm so happy for you. I had to check first thing this morning, hoping Nicky was found. You are probably extremely sleep deprived. Take care of yourself now. You are going to need to throw the justified anger over your shoulder (as I read on a YT post). Let it go, or you will make yourself sick over the way they did not really try hard to find Nicky's home. Keep in mind the important thing is Nicky is home. Getting Nicky chipped, would be the next thing I guess. God bless you. |
