I was just checking up on the meetup and noticed that you are considering staying on the Plaza. that was where Richard asked me to marry him:D There is a really, really nice park just a few blocks south of the Plaze...Loose Park...if I remember correctly. That area is VERY upscale and has some of the most beautiful homes I have every seen. Good choice ladies for lots of stuff to be withing walking distance:thumbup: Patty |

Hi..... just checked out the Plaza on the web... Looks like the meetup committee is starting to get the plans narrowed down! :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: I am really hoping that we can go, too! Sounds like fun AND the website shows a BUNCH of neat places...just hope that most are dog-friendly, as I could never leave Shelby or Seymour alone in a hotel room or in a doggy daycare that I am not familar with. |

To those of you that are planning it, I think we stayed at the Sheraton last time we were there. Rooms were nice, reasonably priced, and right there on the plaza. Just a suggestion-you may have already checked into this one! I have NO idea if they allow dogs or not. |

Probably no Sorry never know from one month to the next nearly where we will be.....being Snowbirds we are all over, but doubt we will be going that way this year, but again, you just nary know.....:D |
Omg Omg Omg Sorry to be so dramatic, but if it really is the 21st, which as far as I can tell (NOT SURE) is the "temp" plan for the time being, I will be SOOOOO excited! My step-sister is getting married in Denver the weekend prior, and so I just looked for a flight from Chas to Denver, Denver to KC, and KC to Chas, and it's only $400 for the entire thing!! Y'all may think that's a lot, but it's a steal for me! It usually costs me over $400 just to fly home so I'm super super excited!! I hope plans get set in stone soon because I can't wait to book my flight and hotel :D :D :D :D I'm slightly excited...can you tell??? Can't wait to see you all!!!! |

I have not had a vacation in such a long time.I dont drive and am alittle scared of flying since 9/11,if the amtrack goes to KC I will start saving and Jasper @ I will be a probably yes,sounds like a blast,once a date is set,I will search for a pet friendly motel or hotel,if their are 2 double beds someone is welcome to stay with me @ their furbaby(s)! |
I've never been to one of these but it sounds like fun! I would love to see all those yorkies in one place! I guess we would have to find a hotel that "really" takes dogs. If not they just might notice all these people sneaking in dogs (or maybe they will think it's all the same dog :-) |
