I'm a maybe, my sis lives outside of St. Louis so if I could work in a visit w/ her that could be my excuse for going.

Corinne - If Matt goes home with me for this as well, he could always fly with one of your girls since we only have Sukoshi. We'd just have to make sure to book on a flight that allows at least 3 doggies on it. I know we're flying Midwest to go home for Christmas, but they only allow 2 dogs per flight. Something for you to keep in mind as an option anyway...

Count me as a "probably yes". Can one person fly with two yorkies? I don't think my husband would be interested in an all day yorkie event but I can't think of anything more fun.

Maybe your sis could make the drive and join us at the meet-up!! It could be a nice weekend getaway for her! I've made the drive across state many times, and it's 4 hours from KC to St. Louie.

On all the airlines I've researched, the only way for 1 person to fly with 2 dogs is if they put one underneath in the cargo section, or if they're both under 6 months old. Personally, I would never put a small animal in the cargo section, but it's a personal decision.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking as long as they both fit in the same carrier you could fly with two. I guess my husband will have to come or I'll just sneak little Diesel in with Dylan. I would never put one of my dogs in cargo either and I'm sure not driving that far.

Yes some airlines will let you as long as they can fit in one bag ;) you'll have to call and check though:)

not sure what airline it was but a friend just took two in one carrier and they were a year old.:);)

Yep Jenn! There are several! If you're actually interested in antiques (vs. flea markets), one of the biggest ones I know of in the area is the Brass Armadillo - http://www.brassarmadillo.com/kcstore.htm. It's technically located in Grain Valley though (about 30 minutes east of the Plaza).
