| How can this be so tangled???? Ok. This is the second time that I dress Mika for about 5 hours. Yesterday after taking Chato and Mika to petsmart and Michales ( yes they let me in with my two dogs) her hair got terribly tangled. When I got home to take off her clothes for bed her hair looked like tangled cotton and I could not do anything but soak her in main n' tail conditioner. Chatos hair was silky and untangled as usual. I do not know if her clothes were to tight or what. What can I do?? Has anybody gone through this? I love to dress my baby girl but i can not be soaking her in conditioner all the time! Thanks for any comment. Eri |

| I think clothes definitely seem to cause mats and tangles, especially when they still have their puppy hair. Now that most of Jake's puppy hair has grown out, his hair doesn't tangle or mat at all. He has a silkier coat, and I also use a detangler, especially when he's going to be running around outside. |

| I had the same problem w/ my yorkie...when he was about 6 months to a year old I tried to put a sweater on him because it was cold out, he had it on for a couple hours & when I took it off his hair looked like a brillo pad...I was so scared that I wasn't going to get it untangled... I eventually did, but now I only put the sweater or coat on to do a trip out to potty then it comes off...he has a cottony coat so that may be why
