| ![]() well i never could catch her to try and tell her how dangerous it was to leave her little yorkie outside alone all day in this heat which is much worse now. she continued to do it of course. well yesterday she was outside on her lawn tractor and so was my husband. her dog was outside running around and so was romeo. when she finished she went inside - i guess SHE was hot. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() i am going to have to wait before i say she finally got a clue but it looks like she may have finally - this morning i was outside on the patio with romeo and she let the dog out and then she called her back in! ![]() we shall see how long it lasts i guess.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You could try to let her know how dangerous her actions are. I feel bad knowing there are people out there who don't pay special attention to these little dogs. They count on us to take care of them and they have no clue they're tiny....being left alone all the time outside is just SAD and she could really be hurt.....There's hawks - other dogs - ants - heat stroke - anything can happen !! and mowing a lawn with a dog running around ? That IS just stupid ! Omg how easy it would be to run over a normal size dog let alone a little yorkie. I can't believe people at all. Have you talked to her ??? |

don't get me started on the hawks!! i was outside that same day with romeo and one flew over - low! - and i ran to pick him up and that little devil heard me call his name and he turned around and saw me running and he obviously thought "goody! mommy wants to play!" because he took off in the opposite direction!! ![]() ![]()

My furkids Donating Member | ![]() It doesn't sound like she cares very much about her dog. Also....just from your what you have said about her sounds like she wouldn't listen to you anyway. I know ALOT of people like this when it comes to their animals. I have cousins that have dogs and are feeding them JUNK! One of my cousins bought her daschaund from a place called "Puppy Patch". Before I found a local breeder I was going to by a yorkie from them until I started investigating them....YUP! they buy from puppy mills. So I told them no thank you and kept up my search. I tried telling my cousin that she was buying from a puppy mill and she wouldn't listen. Some people just think they know everything and then end up with sick pups or even worse...their dog ends up getting killed by another animal or a car....I think if you tried talking to her you would end up more frustrated....

| ![]() I know it must be terrible watching this day in and day out...But I think she's not caring enough to listen to anything you or anyone else tells her...she's going to continue to do as she pleases. But I doubt there's anything you can do, unfortunately until that baby gets hurt or sick...sickening thought.

| ![]() That poor tiny little girl! I am sad for her! Tucker is never outside alone...especially in extreme weather. And for her to get "lost" in the field!!! I can't imagine how frightened she must have been! I wish there was some kind of licensure people needed to have in order to bring furbabies home...and skin babies for that matter! Sheesh!

| ![]() [QUOTE=BLowry;1131449]One of my cousins bought her daschaund from a place called "Puppy Patch". QUOTE] My cousin's wife wants to buy a Puggle from them (if it's the same one) and I advised against it. I'll be honest I bought Tucker from a pet store but that was before I even knew about puppy mills. I wish that info was more widely available to the general public because I feel horrible about it now but I do love my baby boy. Obviously I didn't research enough but now that I have, I try to enlighten others. It's tough when they won't listen, though.

I'm sure it's the same place...It's in Hopkington....They were really nice to me until I started asking questions like, are the puppies bred locally and if not where do they get them....This is when they had an attitude change...They told me that their puppies come from Ohio, Wisconsin....and other mid-west states....this is like the puppymill part of the USA. I am happy to say that by putting out the word to several people I found a local breeder...I have bought 2 yorkies from her and would buy another...(not really!!! hubby would leave me!! LOL) I don't know where you are in mass but, I believe I have seen a sign on 140 going to Wichendon mass that advertised puggles. The next time I am in that area I could check for you. or , give directions and she could maybe take a nice ride someday....depending how far she wants to go.
