Update on my annoying neighbor Thanks for all the advice and kind words. Earlier today, I was taking Vickie to the store with me in the carrier and this woman was all where is your dog?! So, I said she's sick and in my carrier. She opened it and tried to take her out! I closed it and walked off. After I got home I told my mom and went to class to take my final. When I get home my mom tells me she saw the nieghbor and her sister and said to please not hold our dog, we have to train a special way. This woman starts crying and screaming. I reeally think this woman was mentally unstable because apparently her sister had no prob with what my mom said.

It continues to amaze me how people think they can just walk up to other people's dogs and pick them up without even asking! My girl is so small that everyone thinks it's their God given right to handle her, and I'm always so in shock that I don't even know what to say. I feel your pain! Good luck with the crazy lady!

Thanks all. It seems, beside my mom, no one I know personally seems to understand. It's like just because a dog is little does not mean it's community property.

Maybe she has special needs, seriously, as this does not sound like a normal behavior at all. I guess I'd just keep your dog to yourself as best you can. Crazy world!! Kathy

She may be mentally ill or something. I wouldn't be mean to her, but I'd certainly keep my dog away.

The more I hear about her, the more she does sound like someone who is mentall challenged. Have you ever talked to her sister alone? Perhaps if you saw her outside without her you could talk to her and address some of the issues you are having with her. If she is mentally ill she would probably tell you and might have some tips on how to deal with her better when you do happen to run into her.
