| Lulu is afraid of everything lately!! Need help/advice Hi everyone! Lulu is 1.5 yrs old and 5.2 lbs. She has always been very sensitive to loud noises like motorcycles, thunder, airplanes, etc. When she would hear these noises she would shake. Well, lately she is shaking at every little sound. We did have quite a bit of thunder on Monday and our shower curtain rod fell off of the wall in the bathroom on Saturday. She seems to be ok when I am home and will only shake a tiny bit but when she goes to my mom's house when I am at work, she shakes A LOT. I don't think it is separation anxiety because she never had that before. Oh yes, and she was at the vet last week so I don't think she is sick. Has anyone else ever experienced this before? Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Colleen |

| I think they make drops that you can put in their water to help them with anxiety. My fletcher shakes at a lot of things too. Hes petrified of running water in the kitchen sink and the dishwasher! Whether Im loading it or running it through, he shakes the entire time! He shakes when I need to put a trashbag in the barrel. Other than that, he jumps at everything! Last night my bf was laying on the couch and his foot was brushing against a leaf of a plant and fletcher was out of his mind.... shaking and jumping and kept looking over and then at me until finally he curled up on my lap as far away from the plant as he could get but still being on a person! This is the same plant he walks by 50+ times a day, its right beside the door to go out! Go Figure! Wish I could help with your babies fears though!

| Thank you for the information. Today I had to come home from work because Lulu was shaking. She was so stressed that she was panting with her tongue out. I noticed that every time she hears a noise like a loud car or airplane, the shaking starts. I think I am going to email the breeder for his advice too. |

| something I did My fletcher would shake like a leaf in a corner when I ran the dishwasher, so what I did for him is, I would run the dishwasher and sit on the kitchen floor in front of it. Well he cannot help but come to me when Im down at his level! So he would VERY tentatively get closer & closer to me. Finally he'd be on my lap right in front of the dishwasher. I would pet him and play with him and try to show him that it was not going to jump out of the cabinets and eat him alive or that it did not affect life in general for him. HAHA he still does not like the dishwasher but he no longer shakes like a mad man anymore. Maybe if you bring her to the source of the noise and let her inspect it in the safety of your arms she'll realize it was nothing... you may have to keep doing this for a few weeks til she gets used to it. Fletcher used to be afraid of trash bags, mine were always black ... and he finally got used to it, and I bought different ones and they were white and he freaked out again! haha Now hes used to the white ones!

| That is a good idea. I will have to give it a try. Lulu seems to be afraid of loud noises like motorcycles, airplanes, thunder, loud cars, etc. She is acting better today and not as shaky. |
