| Does It Ever End? Do you ever stop worrying about your furbaby? Conner is 14 months old and he is a big boy (9 pounds). If he doesn't eat, I worry. If I think he is sleeping too much, I worry. Today I took him to the park. He ate a little bit this morning, but not much. No lunch or dinner. This afternoon, he was chasing the vacuum cleaner and playing. He has been sleeping for about 3 hours, only getting up occasionally, then going back in his bed. Sometimes I think we tire him out on weekends and on Sunday evening, he crashes. He just got up and went from one bed to the other one. I worry constantly, and I was wondering if it ever ends.

| We always worry, but it does get easier. As time goes by, you get used to your dog's sleeping and eating habits. My dogs always crash on Sunday nights because they don't nap on weekends and spend more time outdoors. So that's normal for them. But if I detect one of them not acting like himself, or acting sick in any way, then I worry big time. I'm on it right away.

| I worry when they pick up something from the ground and eat it and I don't know what they ate. I worry that they will break a leg when they jump from too high of a perch. And NOW I am worrying about hawks swooping down and picking up one of my babies. In fact, I think I am becoming paranoid about these birds. Oh yeah, the dog food recalls scare me too. My two eat like little piggies so I don't have to worry about that.

| Thanks, everyone. I guess I'm not the only one. I am at work this morning and I called my sister (who only lives 2 minutes away from my home) to go check on Conner because he did not go to the window to bark at the kids walking by the house to go to the bus stop (he usually does that every morning). She thinks that I am crazy but she loves Conner to so she doesn't tease me to much!!

| Oh yeah! My boys are a year and half old now and I still worry ALL the time about every little thing! My friends & family think Im nuts, but I don't care My latest BIGGEST worry is them being stolen! I used to take them everywhere I could, but now I don't take them anywhere if I cannot keep an eye on them the entire time! Im soooooo worried someone will just steal them! I don't even let them on the patio alone anymore, only when Im out there with them! I hate having to worry about someone stealing my dogs! Its awful!

| You are not alone I seem to worry about every tiny thing. Through the night I'm always checking my babies. I did have a real scare one time with Pia so that made things even worse with me worrying. I feel like some paranoid idiot half the time but I can't help it. I'm just glad there are others like me You guys I swear are the only ones that understand this worrying feeling. Most people always make stupid comments to me about them "just being dogs" I get so upset by this I will never ever look at them like that They are my babies

| My baby isn't home yet, but I worry about him at the breeder's house. I ask how he's developing, if he's playing with his brother and sister a lot...or too much...or too little, how he's interacting with the cat, and her big dog, if he's healthy, what the vet said, etc... I can only imagine what its going to be like when I bring him home!

| I worry about Momiji a lot but I think it is normal. Since Momiji is my third yorkie so I am little more relax than some other yorkie parents. I don't really worry about if she eat tiny bit of chocolate or dead bugs that she finds. It only gross me out if she eats bugs.... My biggest worry is she might get injured since she is so tiny. (only 2.3 lb.) But other than that, I figure she will throw up or have loose poop. |

| Look at it this way: this is a child that will never mind if you worry over them. They won't tell you to "go away, mom." They won't get angry at you if you insist they go to the doctor. Although worrying can be stressful to you, it can also be beneficial to you, because you have someone that won't rebel to worry about I used to kill myself worrying over my skin kids, but they would never want my attention when they were ill or hurt. Now I worry over them, but not nearly as much as I worry over Summerlin. And if she is ill, she doesn't mind at all if I just let her sit on my lap all day.
