I know that you are stressed, but you came here to ask for advice, alot of great helpful tools have been told to you. Now you say you just want prays, ok, we are all praying for you and Tahoe, then you say nobody asked you what you want to do, it seems that you just don't know what to do, b/c you came here for advice?

I know this is extremely hard, how do you decide what's right and wrong. Please follow the advice of the Specialist, they are properly trained and have all the experience to help guide you in the right direction. I am sure that your Vet gave you the diagnosis of Tahoe Condition. Start doing research on his condition. If he has the same condition as Val's boy - Baby Bear, then contact her and get all the information possible from her, I am sure she is more than willing to help you.

I have respect for every YT member, but unfortunately this person who works for a Vet, doesn't work for your Vet, this person doesn't have Tahoe records and they do not have his diagnosis. I think she was comparing "Paralized" in general verses, I don't know Heart Failure, something that needed instant, immediate decisions made. So, yeah maybe Paralized in not 'life treating' - but if he has AAI condition, he will not be 100% better and from what Val said, even if Tahoe does improve, he is in such a fragile state, that just a simple 'yes' gesture could break in neck. IMO that's very scarey and I would want to do whatever was possible to prevent any further life long damage.

Ok i'm going to chime in here....

tahoe2005.... The reason that we are here on this forum is because we love our dogs and we want to help others. With that being said we here at YT have fallen Victems to a few scams from people coming on with a heart wrenching story of how thier dog needed help. We still have huge hearts here but we are a little wiser we want to help when we can but we need to verify that you are legit before we can do that. I know you came on here looking for advice honestly you got a lot of great ideas and solutions to what would help you! You gave permission to call and verify with your vet. These wonderful people are willing to donate thier hard earned money to help you and your baby even if you didn't ask for it they still want to help! If you would like the help then please be a little gracious about it.
What we need from you.....

1. We need permission for one YT member to call which ever vet you choose to have your baby taken care of by
2. We need address and phone # of vet along with name
3. We need your cooperation

If people choose to donate they will have to donate to the vet's office not to you directly this way it avoids any possible scam and protects not only them but you as well.
I feel for you i know how it is to live paycheck to paycheck and not know what is coming next and although i love my dogs my children come first. I understand that your feelings were hurt because we thought this to be a scam but you must understand we don't know you and you don't know us we have been burned here before and choose not to do it again. These wonderful people are opening their hearts to you if you don't want the help then why are you still posting you want advice. Please don't be rude to the people who are truely trying to help you. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU AND YOUR BABY!!! Please let us help you. You can pm me if you would like i would be more than willing to be the YT member to call for everyone. I f you want the help we can help you but if you don't i am sorry.


**Edited to add: YT members Please be very careful if you choose to donate and make sure this is for real if she doesn't want the help then i say keep him in your prayers and leave it at that don't offer anymore.
