That was very sweet of you. I hope the pup get all the care it needs. Petland in New York is so scuzzy. I was in there a couple of weeks ago to get wee pads and it smelled disgusting. There were dead fish in all their tanks and one set of fish was actually eating a dead one. They havo NO concept of how to care for animals.

Good for you!!!!!!! I wish I could rescue all the puppies that are suffering because of someones ignorance or greed.

Picturing that poor puppy in my head trying to stand up just makes me want to cry - I can't stand it.

Good For You! I can't believe that some people would pay for " Tiny" or " Teacup" yorkies. I am sure that puppy is being better taken care because of you.

It takes a big heart for somebody to stand up for sweet little creatures who can't speak for themselves. I'm very proud of you. Great going!

May God Bless you for what you did! Who else can stand up for these puppies if not people who care! You did a wonderful thing and you are to be commended! Why don't you call the Rescue service and see how the puppy is doing and let us know! I hope you were in time for that poor little thing! I am so very proud of you! Keep up the good work!

Good for you!!! I can't imagine the type of breeder that would allow a tiny puppy like that to be sold in a pet store. Thats a real shame.

Awesome job, ReconsMomma! Did Animal Services warn Petland or anyone in the store about having sickly puppies? It's just ridiculous if they just get away with it each time with just a warning or something.

Thanks all for the kind words and the encouragement. Standing up for this dog is just something that I do. I was raised to treat every living thing with the respect that I would like to recieve. And I was also raised to stand up for the weak or the ones that can not speak for themselves. Just me......

This puppy was put to sleep about 30 min after animal services picked her up. There are alot of people in our area trying to get this place shut down so hopefully we can get it done. Keep your fingers crossed.

Good for you!!!!!!!!! I would of done the same thing! We definantly need more people like you out there that aren't afraid to speak up when we see things like this in petstores and etc!!!
