| Got thrown out again Just thought ya'll would like to know that my big mouth got me thrown out of Petland again tonite. Went in to pick up something for my grammas cat (only store in the area that carries what she needed) and noticed that they had a "teacup" yorkie. There were people lined up waiting to check this little and I mean little thing out. It was 8 f*****g weeks old and didn't even wiegh a pound. Looked really sickly. SO................HAHAHA...........I said in this really loud voice............. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT POOR PUPPY?? IT LOOKS REALLY SICKLY!!!!! Within milli seconds there was a Petland employee trying to explain to me in a very quiet voice that this is the way that "teacup" puppies look because they are so tiny they often times are mistaken to be sick. SO he told me. So I asked him to put the puppy on the floor and let it walk or I was going to call animal services. So he did and the poor little think just flopped to the floor. It didn't even have the strength to stand. SO.......HEHEHE......Again.......in my loud voice i say...... so who is willing to spend money on a yorkie that cant stand and is more than likely fighting for its life right now due to stupedness?????? Then the man tells me again that I do not know what I am talking about. The puppy is just tired. So I went on to tell him in my loud voice how 'teacups' do not exist. It is a term used to get a higher price for these pups since they will be small when grown, if they live that long and so on. Well to make a longer story short........I stood right there in the middle of the store and called animal services and talked loud enough for all to hear. Everyone of those people waiting in line to see the pup left but one lady. Animal services came and took the pup, that lady said that she was willing to help with vet fees or willing to help put the pup to sleep. That was the only reason that she was waiting in line for the pup because she knew that it was sick and needed medical treatment so she was going to spend the $4500 to help this little critter whether it lived or not. She blessed me and told me that I will have a special place in heaven. Sweet old lady..... Just thought ya'll would like to know that I am no longer allowed in Petland so other than the get away driver I am no help with rescuing from there. LOL |

| Good for you! That poor puppy. It's sad to see that places like that pet store will stoop so low just to make money. |

| Woooohooooo!!!!!! Did Animal Services come get the puppy while you were there? What will they do with the baby? I hope the store doesn't get him back! Maybe they will let you adopt him if he recovers!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | oh that poor sweet puppy - it didn't stand a chance in that awful store - I HATE PETLAND ! I cannot go in to that store for any reason because I want to take every puppy home - each one is a MILL puppy - I stopped in there years ago and left physically ill and crying ...it took me a long time to not think about it CONSTANTLY... Petland is a huge buyer of mill puppies and do NOT care if they die or are sick - they will SELL THEM as IS...That poor poor baby - Good for you and that woman - too bad you didn't get news crews out there - that's such a sad story - I just know that poor tiny yorkie had to be scared out of it's mind - |

| So proud of you There has been many times that I have wanted to call attention to different things but never had the total nerve you had. I hope that this little guy will find a good home after he gets strong enough. You would think that the employees there would care a little bit more about the pets that they sell. (they shouldn't sell the at all ) They should have gotten him stronger before they pushed him out the door for money. Keep that motor reved! ...Theresa & The Boys |
