| sorry to burst your bubble.. but not a great food at all. as a rule of thumb.. any dog food you can get at the grocery store or a place like PetSmart is not quality food. do a search on here and you'll find some great suggestions for food. We feed Fromms. other good brands are Canidae or Wellness.. Life's Abundance... |

| Wow! What an intersting site (the one that rates dog food quality). I'm shocked...here I thought my dogs were eating high quality food (Royal Canin) and it was down in the 3 star category(still not bad compaired to dog chow I guess). The only problem is, I have never seen or heard of the supposed 6-star foods. Where in the world do you get these foods besides the Organic Store in Northern California?

| you can try to order online... i think that the 6 star are very hard to find... we feed a 5 star and i feel good about it... Buddah.. take a look at the ranking... sadly science diet (a food many vets sell) is not high quality and what makes me even more mad is that many dog shows are sponsered by Purina or Eukanuba... which is giving people the wrong idea that they are quality foods. |

| You can buy Natural Balance (by Dick Van Patten) at Petco and it's an excellent food that's not too expensive. California Natural, Innova, Wellness, Canidae and Nature's Variety are also excellent foods...just to name a few. |

| well sadly they only recommend it because they will make money from selling it you do not NEED to feed wet... dry is better for their teeth... yorkies tend ot have bad teeth so anything to help is great.. layla gets about 1 tsp of a quality (wellness) wet food in the morning with her missing like as a treat.. and that's it! good luck with your choosing! if you can find a very small locallly owned petstore.. chances are GREAT they have high high quality food... we feed Fromms.. and a friend of mine feeds GO.. also a VERY high quality food... if you want me to send you a sample of each before you buy a big bag PM me and i'll send it to you |

Have you heard of I think it is called balance. Its like a raw food you keep frozen and just slightly heat/defrost before feeding in the place of wet food. It seems like basically raw meat. | |
