| Mini was already named when I got her when she was six months old. I didn't want to change it because she would already have so many new things to get used to, I couldn't see making her change her name. However, her name was Minnie Me but I'm not an Austin Powers fan so I changed only the spelling to Mini because she is so small. Thus, we now have Mini. (More appropriate is Mighty. Ha Ha) |

| Turbo Charge my 6 year old male was already named when I got him. Little Bear 12 year old female - I named her little bear because she looks exactly like one of those old fashioned teddy bears. Nugget - new baby - I named her Nugget because she loves jewellery especially the gold nugget I wear around my neck. |

| Macie was named after my 1st dog who passed away in April after 15 yrs. His name was Mason and sometimes I would call him Masie or Mase. I thought it was a nice tribute and it would help me keep his memory alive.

| I named Daisy her name as it seemed to suit her. I first wanted to call her Maddie or Maggie but she is definately a Daisy. I named my new pup Bear as I was was stumped to pick a name that suited him. I wanted maybe Indigo (Indy for short) since yorkies turn to blue and gold. Hubby said he looked liked a chubby polar bear and wanted to call him Polar, I was not too sure about that...but then we decided on Bear. |

| puppy name My friend and I went to look at the puppies at the breeder. The breeder asked for a name so she could call him that before I picked him up. I could not come up with anything in such a short time. On the way home we brainstormed names outloud and laughed at some of the choices. Then my friend said how about Louie or Charlie (after Charlie Brown). I like that name and thought he would be Charlie, but then she was trying to rhyme names and she said Huey. Right away we both knew that would be the name to fit him. And it has, even though everyone at work calls him killer. They think it is funny. He still is my little baby Huey. |

| harley was named after a gorgeous boxer that the owner brought to see me at work one day. I just liked the name, no motorcyles, etc. My last yorkie was named Dexter - from the character on Dynasty. My best friends yorkie was Alexa. Our border collie is Allie - my husband named her Our lab I named Monster because he is such a big boy. My husband adopted him and he was almost 90 lbs at a year old. |

| Two of my dogs came already named and two we named. Sam and Willie already had their names for awhile so it didn't seem right to change them and they fit them just fine. My Chihuahau was named Daisy but we changed it to Chiquita to sound more Mexican and we thought more fitting for a Mexican breed. My tiny female Yorkie we named "Bitsy" because........she was so bitsy. Now we think it should have been Busy as she's super hyper. |

| Starsky We got Starsky in Hutchinson Kansas. Hence the name Starsky Hutchinson. We went to Kansas on a beautiful day in April. We came home in a horrible blizzard in April. We had to stay in a motel on our way home due to the fact the roads closed. We almost named him Blizzard or white out from the weather. But we stuck with Starsky from Hutchinson Kansas. The only grief we get is where or who is Hutch! No Hutch here. Starsky is almost 8 months old. Our Beagle is name Haggis. My husband told us we could get a dog if he could name him. My husband is a Scot so the name had to go somewhat towards his Heritage. Haggis is 6 yrs old So we have a Starsky and Haggis? no Hutch!

| Trixie was already named by the breeder. She told us we could change her name and I was thinking about it for a bit. But then I noticed she already listened to her name... Besides, I am from the Netherlands and our queen's name is Beatrix. So it could be patriotic (I let my family believe I named her after the queen...) |
