| Gus was this tiny little chunky thing. He reminded me of Gus Gus. The fat mouse from Cinderella

| Schatzie is German and means little treasure or darling. She came to us after the loss of our Yorkie Half-Pint. I have enjoyed reading all the stories on their fur babies names. Very sweet.

| Pippa was named by my daughter, Alyssa...funny story. When Alyssa was 3 years old she decided her name was not Alyssa, it was Pippa-and we should all address her as such. I don't know where she came up with it at all, even though I have heard that Kelly Ripa is sometimes referred to as Pippa by Regis, and there is a barbie doll named Pippa in England. Anyway, we only called Alyssa "Pippa" for a short time until it wore off. As soon as she got baby girl Yorkie, she said, "this is PIPPA!!' It kinda came full circle. As for Scout, my favorite literary character is Scout Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird. Even though Scout Finch is a girl in the book, I thought it was a cute name for our little boy. I didn't think anyone would get "Jem Finch". LOL I still haven't figured out a name for his AKC papers...I'm thinking "T & M's Scout's Honor" Any other suggestions?

| We wanted to give our little darling a really cute name because she is so adorable. I love Walt Disney and we tried to find a suitable name among the Disney characters. First we were thinking of Bambi, but that's more of a boy's name, so it became Bella after Bell in "The beauty and the Beast" (which also means beautiful/pretty in Italian).. It's kind of funny, but when my hubby is taking Bella for a walk alone he must be careful about shouting Bella out loud, Italian girls could get offended hehe

| I named my baby Susan because it seems like a cheerful, sunshiny name to me. I always think of sunshine, straw hats, sunflowers, zinnas along a picket fence and golden raisins (maybe the Sunkist Maid?) whenever I hear the name Susan. It makes me happy just to say it. So I gave it my baby girl. |

| The other Simon yorkie on the board pretty much told me it was his name when I rescued him. Since my other rescue is easilly 60 pounds and named Delilah, I thought it would be funny to name him Sampson, but he wasn't having none of that. So he is just my Simon Pickle. Granted he'll answer to anything if it means a belly rub lol. Jeni |

I am absolutely obsessed with that movie...you have no idea. I want my wedding at Cinderella's castle in Disneyworld. On topic though, we named Lucy after the Beatle's song "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds". We got Linus, and because Lucy is a Peanut's character too, we decided that was a good theme I guess. I love Charles Schultz and have since I was little.

her full name is Lucia Grace Antoinette, but I'm the only one that actually calls her that (usually when I'm angry.. or i'll just say "lucia" if i'm coo-cooing her name)

| Since I collect Bears it seemed only appropriate that our new baby should go by the name Teddy.

| When I first saw Maggie I knew instantly that was her name. I've taught dance for about 4 years now and my favorite (i know i know, i hsouldn't choose) little girl of all time was named Maggie. She was 3 and just sooo sweet! It's funny how it worked out because I had 2 of my friends with me and they thought I should name her Maggie because of our college dining hall (both fresh. and soph. year), Margaret Boyd dining hall. We always pretended that good ol' Margaret was the best thing since sliced bread. But yeah.. Mags has a few reasons her name is what it is! plus, Maggie Mae... you know, the beatles?

| My husband named our yorkie. He has this way about him and D/H said "Well, looks like Doberman Dudley will take on anything. Dudley was trying to chase this 20 pound cat out of our yard. He was only 12 weeks old and no bigger than a mouse! Anyway the name stuck. |
