| My Condo Though I mainly live in Georgia, I own a condo in S. Florida that I stay at approx 4 weeks per year (about a week at a time, 4 times a year). Well, pets are NOT allowed I know some of the folks have cats (on the sly)...there may be a dog or two...I don't know for sure. I'm contemplating what to do in April when I go down there for a week's stay. Betty is now 18 weeks old. I am the worrywart type and hate the thought of leaving her in a kennel somewhere or even with anyone else I wonder if I should kind of sneak her in...and if she is found out, I can put her in a kennel down there and pick her up every day?? Any thoughts? Thanks. |

| if you're only there for a week, I'm sure nobody will mind.. plus she's still so tiny.. I say sneak her with you.. and if someone happens to find out (which I doubt anyone will) then put her in a kennel there where at least you will have her close to you.

| Sneak her in!! My boyfriend's sister lives in an apartment building in Los Angeles and the walls are incredibly thin. There is a no pet policy there also. She has a Boston Terrier though. AND, we brought Ferdinand with us to see her one weekend and he barked up a storm, but she never got in trouble. If you get caught, just play dumb like you didn't know the no pet policy, lol

| If it helps you make your decision, I snuck Zoe into a high end hotel in Las Vegas lol! We did get in trouble for it when we were out for the night and she barked at noise. Like you, I couldn't bare to be without her for 3 days and didn't trust anyone enough to leave her behind. Jennie |

| LOL! Thanks. We are on the east coast...Stuart. Well, it sounds like I'll just sneak her in and see what happens! I will try to take her with me whenever I can...short beach trips, fishing from the piers, etc. |

| I'd probably try to sneak her in, but on the other hand... We started boarding Tank & Buckeye when they were about 16 weeks old. My hubby and I both have jobs where we have to travel alot and I knew that we would have to board them on occasion. The kennel was a good one with a grandma kind of woman running the place as a sie on her house. Because of their experience with her they are super well socialized. They don't know a stranger, animal or human and they also adapt very easily to new places, be they a different boarder now that we've moved or other people's houses. If you think you will need to kennel her in the future it is good to start them young. No matter how good the place is though I almost always want to cry when I leave them. So I'm sure you will have a great time with her at the beach!! |

| You could always tell a "white lie" and say that the petsitter didn't show up, or something like that, "if" you get caught!!! I'm flying home to California for Easter and I'm bringing Izzie. I hope that the flight attendants are nice enough to let her sit in my lap for some of the trip...

| The dog is supposed to be in the carrier at al times. Stowed under the seatin front of you for take off and landing. During the flight, you can hold the carrier on your lap, or put it next to you if the seat is empty. I am a FA...just letting you know the regulations. Some of us chill out about it (me) but I work with others who get crazed if the pet comes out, or if you even unzip to stick your hand in. Hope you get a nice crew!!!
