| Oh no! I'm so sorry and I'll be praying for Rhapsody's safe return. I remember sewing her some little dresses. Sending big hugs to you and I hope and pray to hear a happy ending to this story. My heart goes out to you, your family and little Rhapsody!

| Are there any holes or buckets etc, it would be terrible but I have heard of dogs & children falling head first into a bucket or water filled hole & not being able to get out A 2 yr old little girl did that & the family walked by it several times searching for her, but didnt look in. I t would be horrible to find him like that but I would do a thorough search of the backyard, I know I have a tiny garden pond & a dog fell in it once, I could see a fake duck I had in it moving a little, I actually couldnt see the dog but I went closer & saw it & pulled it out, it was fine-but had I not been right there & it would have took some effort to see him if he had drown. It was a snauzer I found on the highway. Once you have really searched every inch of the backyard(& I truely hope nothing like that happened), call/visit neighbors, call shelters, vet. A neighbor probably has him. I called the local gas stations etc once & asked that if they have anyone come into to buy dog food for their new dog "yorkie" to call me please. Put a a pic at the gas stations, grocery stores, pet stores-where it will be seen by everyone & ask for his safe return-say he needs meds for a fatal illness, I read you should put that, the people will be more ap to return the dog. If anyone calls & asks what meds he's on say its for heart problems & it is a very expensive med. I hate lying but this is a yorkie we're talking about! Is there snow, can you see tracks? I will be praying your baby gets home safe & sound. Could he have gotten under the house somehow? I hope you find him soon, please keep us posted. |

| Searched high and low; not in the house, and no buckets containers or ponds in the backyard. I had been thinking of putting in a pond, but was afraid the pups or kids would fall in, so I had decided against it. Tiger has been napping and whimpering all day. He seems to be really freaked out about the backyard, so maybe someone did grab her back there. . . Thank you again everyone -- the support on here is wonderful. Posters are set and ready to go -- talked to neighbors, vet and animal shelter. I'm planning on calling the police tomorrow; if nothing else to report a possibility of her being stolen. Rachel of course is inconsolable; my son's upset, but Tiger is his dog so he doesn't seem to be too worried. Rachel took one of the posters to bed with her, and put it on the table by her bed. Poor baby. Connie, thank you for remembering us; we did get do some adorable matching outfits from you this past spring. Thank you for your kind thoughts. Thank you to everyone; hopefully I'll hear or find out something tomorrow. I'll let ya'll posted.

| Sending prayers to you, your family & Rhapsody. This is awful news and my biggest fear. Is your yard accessable to outsiders? or does it back up to your neighbors yards? Could he be IN one of your neighbors home through their doggie door or open door and they didn't know? You might also want to check to see if there was any workmen in the area such as the phone, gas, electric, cable company, etc. to see if anyone saw anything suspecious. Who knows, maybe someone was dispatched to your neighborhood and took the opportunity to take him. Just one more avenue to check. I pray for his safe return.

| Tell all the children you see and have your kidos spread the word .,,,, that you will pay them a lot of money if they can help you find your dog... I told my neighborhood kidos I would give them $100.00.... if they could help find my dog.... I had them telling me about all kinds of sightings..... they spred swiftly... to help.... and all tried to be the first.,, Kids are great at locating pets.... they will tell on anyone too, nothing is sacred too.... parents, siblings, friends, friends neighbors... you know it they will tell you ..... If you don't want to make it a 100.00 offer them whatever you think would make it worth their effort.,,,, I personally think 100.00 is not very much considering I would just about pay anything to get a little thing back... |
