It's getting better though. It really is. And the news on our house is... well... bad, but it's good, too. There's so much damage, they are going to rip the whole thing off from the rafters up and start over. We need new wiring throughout, new floors, new walls... And we even get new cabinets and countertops which we needed anyway. Yay? lol That's not the best way to get a renovation though. Oh, and we'd already had a contractor pretty well hired to do some renovations like put in a new door (with a doggy door for Pixie)... He's now hired to do the entire house and told me there were easier ways of busting through the wall to put doors. heh ![]() I also told my husband that I may be a paranoid freak now, but that he needs to know that I will NEVER move somewhere again without a doggy door so my precious Pixie can get out of the house burns. I'm so grateful the neighbor was able to save her. And as far as her spoiling Pixie... I seriously doubt she could do any more damage than what we've already done! She is trained and very well behaved, but at the same time, she's the most spoiled dog that ever walked the planet. But for such a good, well behaved dog, who wouldn't spoil her? This past weekend, I even bought her a hamburger patty so she could eat the whole thing... I figured she needed a big treat after all she'd dealt with.

| Oh Lopsi sorry, about your house, and thank God that your neighbor was able to save her. Where I just to live (north of california) somebody set our church in fire, it was horrible,my husband was a brandnew believer and also a volunteer firefighter, it was hard, we didn't understand why somebody want to do that, but you know what it brought us together, the members, the community, and other denominations too, now the church is beautiful renovated place, God turn it around for our best, and he will do it for you too. The police capture the man, he is now in a mental institution here in california, i personal think he is possess man (for the reason he said he burn the church, he also was the one that used to urinate at front door of the chuch and stuff like that). |

I think the biggest blessing is that the day had to be so hard and that everything DID happen within a matter of hours.... but because of that, the other animals were rescued. We also get our new door & puppy door... and they're going to erect a fence for us. And we get stairs to get into the attic which we didn't have before and we get a whole new roof. We also get new countertops and cabinets in the kitchen... and new floors. Some of these are things we wanted to do anyway and were just slowly saving up to have done (door, fence, stairs, cabinets, counters...). So we're being blessed with all that, too. The resale value on our house may have just crashed, but I think it's going to be perfect for us once it's fixed up and the new skylights are patched up
