Well we made it home with little Pixie and the boys are mesmorized by her. Bogus continued to bark at her and she is so polite she took as long as she could, LOL and here is a few pics. where she gave it back to him..The next is Pixie and Yogi, they were buds from the start..here they are sizing each other up and then a greeting kiss!!!! Heres the link for those of you that don't know Pixi's tragic week!!

Wow.. they look like they're really getting along well. She doesn't look like the same dog I gave you this morning - thank you so much for cleaning her up for me.

And thank you so very much for taking her in for a couple days. I can't wait to get her back on Wednesday, but I'm very happy that she's gone to a good home, has made friends, and even got a bath.

She stunk and I couldn't do much about it :(

I forgot to tell you - another useful phrase for you will be "leave it" - if she gets in to something or is *about* to get in to something, tell her leave it. You can even put a hamburger in front of her and tell her to leave it, and she will. That may help in feeding, too ;)

But if you tell her to "leave it" to someone else's food, be sure and tell her to "take it" for her own! hehe

Things are starting to work out. It's hard being alone after being used to a family and pets... but it's giving me time to work things out emotionally as well.

No, she didn't stink at all...I should have taken a picture of them all when they were horse playing outside and Bogus and Yogi got her wet and muddy:D EVERYONE got a bath!! She is so smart, and polite, as I said I hope my redneck boys don't rub off on her, maybe she will influence them:rolleyes: She hasn't gotten off of my lap long enough to attempt to get into anything Mom..I can't imagine her even attempting to do anything I would have to give her a comand for...Now the boys....a different deal... Little Maggie loves her too....They are all about the same size!

The can of desert I sent is for your dogs. I just threw it in when I was packing up because it was there and she won't eat it. She won a couple in the sit-stay competition (she came in first).. but I opened one can and she absolutely turned her nose up and wanted to know when I was going to feed her something EDIBLE! lol

Also - I notice your dog is wearing a belly band... I have 3 belly bands ranging from about 10-12 inches... are you interested? I don't think they burned, but I will have to clean them from smoke. It won't be before Wednesday, but I can mail them to you if you want them.

Absolutely. I loved having ya'll for "what do I do when..." and "uh oh, is this safe?"... I had no idea I'd end up relying on ya'll like this. I really do appreciate it Teffiemoore.... I'm so thankful Pixie has a nice, safe place to call home for a few days. And that she met new friends! That was probably good for her considering her friends here are "gone" and it was just her. Not to mention she's such a "social animal". lol

I don't know what I'd do without YT. Thank you everyone!

Lopsi, I followed Caddo's whole sad story, and I'm so sorry about that. And then....the absolute nightmare of coming home to your house burning....well, let's just say it put some of my own problems into perspective! I really admire the way you've kept your head up throughout this whole insane part of your life. I know that it must be unbearably hard right now, but just keep telling yourself that you WILL get past it, and life WILL get better.

Teffie is a sweetie, and I'm so impressed with her volunteering to travel so far to help you! I know she's spoiling your baby for you! Pixie is a DOLL!

(love that look on Bogus's face after she puts him in his place, LOL!!!)
