http://www.beaglesunlimited.com/beag...occidiosis.htm Also I added the suggested 12.5% Sulfadimethoxine in there water, but for small dogs albon 5% is best & it tastes good. Best buy on it is http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.h...2-00b0d0204ae5 Dont forget about the yogurt. | |

| ![]() You have to look & see if it has some mucus & a little blood-very good sign of coccidiosis. If the vet confirms all your pets should get a 21 day treatment. I wouldnt take his meds I would order my own bottle for $54 because w/his 7 day supply & the 3 repeats for 2 more 7 days & a final ok it did take a 21 day treatment will be cha ching in his pocket. I know money is no object when it comes to our babies health but ..I'm sure it is adding up already & you will just be sick to find out w/only $54 you can treat 21 days out of the year (right before xmas I start since its pretty stressful, or you can do it a few days before july4th fireworks & a few days after, any time you know they are going to be stressed & afraid you could run a 7day coarse but once its at the out of control state then it takes 21days. I learned the hard & expensive way w/30 little pound puppies that I & 2 friends saved from the pound, but after giving a bunch of money to the vet, that was unneccasary & then doing my own reasearch I bought a gallon & they all made it threw just fine. |

| ![]() Well she was fine for a day, but then relapsed with wet poops again. Occasionally, maybe 1/5 poops, there is mucousy stuff in it... def no blood at all. Most of them look normal but are just super wet. My girlfriend thinks it's her food becuase it smells putrid (Science Diet Puppy Bites). I picked up a new bag this morning and it does smell better. Hopefully she'll be fine soon. Last inght she got up 4 times to poops... I'm still quite tired. |

also it could be the food she's eating. try switching her to something without so many byproducts. If you buy her food at petco or petsmart you can pick up a bag of nutro or natural balance next time. they are higher quality and may work better on her stomach. I'd try the allergy formula's of the natural balance. they might be easier on her.

| ![]() You may want to try switching her food, if you have already ruled out medical causes. I know the type of food they eat plays a major role in how firm/soft the stools are. Good luck!! Quote:
