Yes! Mya is in, and WELCOME to the club, you little chub!



Because of Beau's proximity to 7 pounds, he can only be accepted on a conditional basis for now. He's one bowel movement from falling below the magic number. If he maintains over the next couple months or gains, he will be welcomed as a full-fledged member of the Teapot Club.



While we normally require more precise measurements than an 8-10 pound range, the attached picture was so cute that we won't bust your chops. Lil Bit (and them some ) is in! Welcome!



10 pounds at 5 1/2 months? Cody has the makings to be PRESIDENT of the Teapot Club! Of COURSE he's in! Welcome.




Yes, yes, Ladybug is in (providing she's a Yorkie and not an actual ladybug). Anyone who appreciates a teapot is a welcome addition to the club!

Majestic, welcome to the teapot club. There is actually no official Teapot link, and this is the only real thread. The way I see it, if you are a teapot, that is the reward...you don't need the trappings of club membership cards, secret handshakes, etc.

It's kind of like being a genius--just knowing you are smarter than everyone else is enough.

Someone on YT coined the term teapot for Yorkies over 7 lbs and it just stuck. It really is the cutest term, isn't it?

Hello

Diesel is now weighing in at 12lbs! I dont think that he is overweight at all! he looks muscular. At least thats what we are calling it, lol. We would love to join the club if youll have us! He is 10 months old!

I just checked out your album, and I wholeheartedly agree: Diesel is all muscle, and it looks like he puts it to good use!

We often make people wait until their Yorkie turns 1 before allowing them in the revered Teapot Club, but I gotta feeling he's not going to be losing that much weight in the near future, so he's in. Welcome to the Teapot Club, Diesel. You've got the PERFECT name for this club

Mike, Can I Reggie please join the teapot club? I'm now at 14 lbs and I think I can fly. I jump off the couch back, over the wood pile (why walk around when we can jump over it?) And no birds or squirrels in our yard as I chase them all away! I also tried to chase away a skunk but he won So can I please join even if I still smell a little?

So it looks like our Tuffy is also ready to join the teapot club!
He was at the vet earlier this week & now weighs a whooping 8 lbs! He's not fat by any means & we're totally happy with his size.

Woo, Hoo, I have not posted here in ages, glad to be back, looks like this is the perfect spot for GIZMO and I to re-join. At this point I would like to request membership into the exclusive Teapot Club. My Gizzy is a healthy 9 pound ball of energy.

Cowgirlc, while Gizmo certainly sounds like the perfect addition to the club, the application must include a picture and biographical information like age and sex. I know this seems harsh, but if we just let EVERYONE in, it wouldn't be an exclusive club, would it? You may reapply in 2 years.

Not Harsh at all....rules are rules.....problem is I was trying to attach a picture of my baby and could not figure out how to get the darn thing on here, I uploaded it but have no idea where it went.....''''HELP!!!!!!!!!!!lol

Thank you for the photo instructions let's give it a try, my little Gizmo is 4 years old and weighs 9 pounds, we live in Kaufman Texas and are about to travel to Detroit Michigan for the holidays so I am excited that he is going with me and need to shop for warmers clothes and footies for him. He is my joy as I know all of you feel the same about your fur babies. He has however lost some hair under the arms and around the belly from scratching, allergies I beleive so I am trying to grow his hair back any suggestions. Any who...let me see if I can post this picture!!
