I also would like to apply to the Teapot Society altho' I may be a border line candidate. I am 6 years old and weigh 8.8 lbs. My Name is Pippo but my certificate says "Lockley's Revenge". That's because my mother was "Maid Marion" and my father "Revenge of Love". I live in Italy and spend my time chasing the pinchers and german shepherds that live on the other side of my fence. I am also very engaged on warm summer nghts hunting down a toad that lives under the rosebushes and a family of hedghogs that hide in the bamboo hedge. I hate to be combed and brushed but enjoy the compliments that come my way when I am all spiffy. I would send a picture but my human mother isn't too clever with tecnological things so I will leave my looks up to your immagination. Happu barking to you all.

Hi Everyone. My yorkie wants to join the Teapots. Her name is Isabella Rose. She is 6 months old and weighs 10.8 pounds. She is a sweetheart and spoiled rotten. She also has a big sister Carly Jo who is a Chorkie and weighs 12 pounds.
They love each other so much and have so much fun together.

I believe my Coco is more of a Bucket at 15lb than a Teapot. He's all muscle and can hit overdrive on the track if he wanted too. One day, I let him loose on a small park to see if he can catch me while running. I was so wrong, he flew by me and ran circle around me!

I guess I too have a teapot. He is 7 months and weighs 12 lbs. Not sure how I'm suppose to apply to this group. Any help would be appreciated. Also if at 7 months his 12lbs does anyone have any idea what his adult weight will be?

While your boy sounds like a great candidate for our order, the elders do require a current photo to confirm eligibility. A video is also great. After all, one can never be too careful in a world filled with teacup spies who would seek to limit the sizes of our members' treats and dinners. Here is the application for our ancient order:

At three years old, and being shaped like a barrel prancing upon deer hooves (and still not dropping below 7 lbs), Merry Piper would like the elders to reconsider her. She also bites. I'm just saying.
Her brothers (actual Teapotters for quite some time) are still twice her size, but they revere her larger than life attitude (if not her ungainly "elegance" on those tiny feet)

While my Cookie Monster has yet to reach the rank of venerable elder in the society of the teapot, she has now worked her way up into admissions. I submitted the application to her last night and it was a no-brainer. We had our doubts initially at 7.1 lbs, but then reviewed the photographic evidence of young Piper eating from the cereal bowl and knew she could not be a teacup then. At 15 months we believe Merry Piper shows incredible potential and we cannot afford to pass on her. But we will have to insist she continues sneaking food from mom's cereal bowl to ensure she maintains healthy teapot weight. We'd also recommend an exercise regimen of digging for grubs and yelling at the UPS man for building mass. We are all confident Piper will do us proud and welcome her to our society.

She is, after waiting patiently, thrilled to be accepted. As noted before, she's three years old now and has recently impressed us with a feat of finding her way through the box holding an 18" New York style pizza and removing a gigantic slice for herself. We only realized this when she wouldn't come when called...food trumps all else, with her, so we weren't surprised to discover a party of one having quite the pizza party.
Although I can't promise her pizza, I think she sneaks enough other things that her current 7.3 lbs will keep her otherwise smallish frame warm as the weather grows chilly.

Is that Bentley in your avatar pic? If so I think we can induct him into the society, though he will be on a probationary status for 90 days: in this time period Bentley cannot drop below 7.1 lbs for any reason. We can make this offer because we know big chewers are usually able to keep up a healthy teapot weight. Welcome Bentley, you will receive your official letter confirming your membership, though our elders are a little slow with snail mail and it could be centuries.
