You see, this is what happens when people ask for donations on a public forum. One person may really need help, and then some people come out of the woodwork and soon everyone needs monetary help.

So here's my plea, I'm trying to open an online pet supplies business. Who wants to donate to my cause? Kidding!

In general most all the people I've 'met' online are pretty great people....actually I wish I could meet some online people in person - I'm closer w/some of them than with my real life friends - but there's bound to be the ones who hide or lie about who they really are and thanks to them - WE learn to be more careful

I wrote to my credit card company to ask them to cancel the payment to that woman Kamila Zych {e-mail: artemida@aol.com}
so I hope they take care of that... I wonder if they will report it... and if not, where can we report this fraud??? Itz a shame b/c it makes us all doubt otherz intentions.

and jrsygal37 ... you were smart to keep giving her/him other avenues for help .... obviously 'begging' suited her/him better!

Your right there are so many people out there that ask for help that dont need it or you see them hinting for free Yorkies and such.

Your right and this person a or seemed so sweet the whole forum just loved her. Untill after 2 years found out most of what she said was fake even all the family members she spoke of. she just seemed like a reg sweet person,

Yeah I'm a little confused too. Weren't the donations and links set up for and sent directly to the vet, where there IS an actual MIKO, although we are not sure he/she is a yorkie?? The scam then would be if she tried to get us to pay for her dogs vet services when he/she wasn't a yorkie.

Then the other scam was that supposedly Kammi and the #192 poster are one in the same to try and inflate the request and make it sound more legit? Which in my opinion means they both should be banned, not one banned and the other suspended for trying to deceive YT members.

Then this same person is on yahoo trying to collect donations to pay her vet bills, which appears to be a legit debt???

Those must be some serious bills to make one so desperate to deceive.

I have been following this thread for a while. It makes me really sad that you have to second guess people. But in this day and age there are so many people that take advantage and prey on others good will and hearts that you have to really question everything whether or not it is legit! Its such a shame that the bad people have to ruin everything.There are people that are 100% legit and I know I speak for the majority of us in this forum that would do whatever we could to help them. But you hate to feel that you could be taken advantage of and scammed.
I just pray for little Miko, and if Kammi is truly who she says she is, then I hope she will get the resources and help she needs.

Maybe admin can send us a post here telling us why she was suspended and do they feel this is a scam. There is a Miko in the hospital with kidney failure.
I had posted a while back an IMOM link for a friends yorkie who needed financial help funding a surgery (she got the funds but he didnt make it through the surgery ). And I knew this person wasnt a scam and was upset that Admin deleted it. Now I understand the reasoning behind it. You just dont know who to trust these days. Someone posted that a person they had been chatting with for years turned out to be a fake. This happened to me. I emailed with this woman for a long time and thought I really knew her. Something had happened (to long of a story to post) and she finally came out and said that she wasnt who I thought she was. She didnt live where I thought she had lived. And the name I knew her as wasnt even real.

Man, that really stinks. I almost donated myself, and I am a newbie!!! I was waiting til payday (christmas did me in). I am glad someone caught this before I did anything. Now all thats left to do is continue praying for Miko, prayer is better than any amount of money. God can change things!!!! I am praying that he touches the heart of the doctor, and maybe he will tell her that all is well and she owes nothing!!!! You never know!

There was something fishy about her posts from the beginning....like V sd., these being her first posts on the board, and mentioning money over and over.

So, someone on the phone said that there is a "Miko" with liver shunt at that vet. How do we know that she doesn't WORK at that office, giving her the knowledge and ability to set up the whole scam?! Multiple people could even be in on it! Heck, the VET could be in on it!~
I'm just saying, we have no way of knowing right now. I've seen too much in my time, I guess...I know anything's possible. And yeah, it's crappy to be so cynical, and to feel like you can't always confidently help people...but people get desperate sometimes, and do crrrrAAAAAzy things.

She proved herself to be a liar, imo, with the fake identity posting in support of herself. She had other ways (like meeting with Chachi) to validate her story, and she chose to go the dishonest route. To me, that's all I need to know.
