Get in touch with the people who read your electric/gas/water meters, show them a photo and offer them a reward. Remember, they're usually near every home in the immediate vicinity. Best of luck and keep us posted. Prayers on their way up for Peanut's safe return.

So far there has been no news. I've checked to make sure all my signs are still up on the street corners. The animal shelter here was closed due to the holidays and it says it opens again tomorrow, so I'll be filling out a report with them tomorrow. Thanks for all the heartfelt wishes, prayers and ideas. I've been driving the streets around here so I'm pretty confident he hasn't been run over. It's really cold out tonight, but he is used to meeting strangers and I don't think he'd be scared on the streets around the house so I think someone probably has picked him up. I'm just hoping they'll contact the city or maybe they have been out of town for the holidays and havent seen the posters yet.

Best of luck in finding your little guy. Keep roaming the area and getting the word out. You might want to check any wooded areas close by if you have some. Terriers love the little critters (squirrels, etc) that live there and are always up for a good chase. You've got a bunch of us out here sending good thoughts your way! Don't give up hope.

There is no word yet. I went to the local animal shelter today - the first day it's been open since Peanut ran away - but he wasn't there nor had anyone reported him found. I've called the local no kill shelter also and have posted on multiple lost/found sites. Thanks for all the support everyone. I really appreciate it.

I was hoping that Peanut would be home by now! Calling the radio station was a very good idea, also. Around here, if someone's dog goes missing the radio station announces it every time the local news is given.
