Thank You. I love him to death he is my baby. I have never seen a yorkie as dark as him others have posted pictures of there dark yorkies here but he tops it, he is darker then all of them. I would have thought that he would have lighten a bit but he is still dark don't get me wrong his tan pieces on his face have lighten up a bit but like they say yorkies can take years before they reach there adult color. Color is one thing that can not be guaranteed as it takes years to reach its full color. But regardless I Love him just the same and I prefer the darker color on a yorkie, but it would be great if I was able to see more of his beautiful baby face. Thanks for replying to my ad I know that this is an old thread.....

Thank You. He is just a real cutie. I too prefer the darker colored yorkies but I would of loved if his face got just a bit lighter. I guess only time will tell will repost new pics as he gets older.

Your Yorkie is sooo cute. What a doll. I love my Charlie's color and I would not want too much of his gorgeous color to change but I would love it if he lightened up just a bit on his face, but it really does not matter he is just perfect the way he is but looking at him I think he might lighten up as he does have some gold under his dark hair that seems to have peeked threw and when he was younger you could hardly see his gold tones... Thanks for all the comments

I actually was just checking his baby pictures and when he was about I would say 6 months his color seemed lighter then what he looks today. What do you think. Before and after pics. His after picture is him about a month ago

His gold tones actually look more vibrant then on his baby picture but his black also looks vibrant as well could be the flash on the camera or the products I use on his coat, that baby picture I posted up was taken by the breeder. He does have thick hair and a lot of it. I LOVE IT. I love making his topknot he has plenty of hair for that, now my female in the other hand has really thin hair and her hair when I put it up on a topknot she really hardly has any. Gotta love all the difference between the yorkies. Thats what I love about them not all are the same and both of mine are total opposites.
