Your little one is a doll and I love the dark coloring, that is one of the qualities that attracted me to Sahara, though I know they always change.

No, I didn't see her parents at all, I bought her from a pet store and the other she was with was her sisters according to the store.

Don't worry, on the average those yorkies that don't clear on their heads, hold their body color longer (don't end up going white)....although, those that keep too much black on their faces usually end up being soft coated. She doesn't seem to be doing that.

I have not have the chance to read the later part of the reply since i have been very, very busy during the holidays. anyways, thanks to all. My bella is 6 months now and yeah... her face is still dark but does not bother me anymore after seeing those cute pictures of yorkie babies here with the same dark coloring as her. thanks to all...

She's beautiful. I think the darker or lighter yorkies are just too cute. I mean, you just don't see them everyday so they really stand out. As you can see by my avatar I have a silver/tan color on my little girl and I can't tell you how many compliments I get just because she's different. Your little one is beautiful and unique.

It was a toss-up when we got Tatum because her mom was real silver and her dad was very black - almost like yours. Tatum has a lot of gray now (at almost 3 years old) but not as light as mom or dark as dad.

You know, I didn't realize that some Yorkies kept the black around the nose until seeing so many different pictures on YT. I have a desk calendar that I just got for Christmas and I see quite a few (out of 365 pics!) with black around the nose. I think yours is adorable!!

OMG she is just adorable, if you don't want a dark face little girl, I can take her off your hands... She is just beautiful, I love the dark ones, however I don't have one, all mine are very light......

I don't think u should worry about your dogs dark facial colorings,they all come in different shades, both of my dogs were dark (not as dark as your dog)at first but eventaually there color lightned alot, your dog is still young so give it time.
