My Yorkie Is Too Dark

Oh she is so cute!!! Cali in my Avatar stayed dark for a real long time, just recently at 17 months she is turning a lot of gold on her face but her body is still Black.

she so adorable! and i love ur "Purebred Princess" bag! i dont think you should be worried at all, Remy started turning lighter really fast, i wish he stayed darker longer! i didnt know there were some so dark either, but i think its cute! im sure she will lighten up eventually though, i think all Yorkies do.

Hi....this is a pic of Sabastian...He will be 2 the 18th of this month and he has the darker color also. We waited around for almost 2 years for his color to lighten up to the steel color, but with no luck! My Lily had the 'traditional' colors, and that is what we expected when we bought him. We no longer worry or question his color, because he is who he is and he is beautiful to us!

I can't imagine why you are concerned at all. You have a beautiful Yorkie. I would much rather have a dark little Yorkie - then a lighter one.

And - your Yorkie isn't that dark at all. She has a beautiful range of colors all over.

Count your blessings - You have a little dog that really is probably the envy of a lot of us.

Plus - I bet your pup will still lighten up some.....

I don't think you Yorkie is too dark . Venus was darker when I purchased her , now she is dark steel blue and gold .

She is absolutely adorable. I also like darker ones more. Her facial features are so cute. She looks like such a lively pet.

She's such a cutie. My abbie had a lot of dark hair on her face when I first got her but she is REALLY light now. She just turned 2 and it took a while to grow out. Some yorkies stay dark though. I think she's a doll baby with her dark hair

Oh My. She is gorgeous. I love her coloring, I like the dark colors and there are several here that have dark ones and their beautiful too. But I like the lighter ones too. I've decided the color doesnt make the dog because their all different and most of all their pretty too. yours is simply gorgeous tho.

My little Sahara is dark, though not as dark as yours. She is only 7 months old and I am also wondering how she is going to turn out, though it is only with the element of time that will tell.
Your little one is a doll and I love the dark coloring, that is one of the qualities that attracted me to Sahara, though I know they always change.
